Ohio State was in firm control of its home opener Saturday as it advanced to 2-0 after a 35-7 victory over Youngstown State.
Kyle McCord made a significant push to claim the starting quarterback job, completing 14 of 20 catches for 258 yards and three touchdowns. He had plenty of help from his former high school teammate, Marvin Harrison Jr., who caught seven passes for 160 yards with two touchdowns.
TreVeyon Henderson only had five carries in Saturday's win, but he made them all count with 56 yards and two touchdowns on the afternoon. Tommy Eichenberg led the way defensively with six tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack and one forced fumble.
