Kind of off-topic, but who all were we giving a serious look at for HC back then and who was thought to be the favorite? I for the life of me can't remember. I just recall Tress sort of coming out of left field and a lot of people not being thrilled.
Dang. Like the above poster said, finally get Urban back and now we lose Bosa. Having said that, if you guys could choose between having Urban or a healthy Bosa for the PSU game, who would you take??
I thought tcu used two timeouts already??
Yep their favorite phrase finally came true. "He was short!"...the fact tsun needs gifts to stay in the game against smu is flat out glorious.
Props to JK for handling himself so well with those questions. She was trying so hard to bait him into saying the wrong thing. I do think he was telling the truth though. What a luxury to have two top notch RBs that are fresh for their respective series. Going to pay major dividends as the season goes on too.
Master Teague and NPF holy cow. Talk about a brick shithouses. I also have a feeling the Snead/Teague combo is going to be fun to watch in the coming years.
Anything short of life in prison for Urban won't please the media or any of the anti-OSU/Urban crowd. So why try to please them. Punish based on the facts of the ordeal, and from everything I've heard, Urban hasn't done anything wrong except lie to the media. Like Reece Davis said, if coaches were fired for lying to the media, there wouldn't be any coaches left. Personally I think he SHOULD be reinstated within a couple weeks, but have a feeling they will throw him a 2-4 game suspension just for PR. Which is crap because everybody's mind is set on how they want this to end regardless of facts.
I know several moves need to be made, but for the love of God, start with firing Lue.
Best of luck To Dylan! My God though. He isn't someone I'd like to meet in a dark alley. Unless he's on my side of course.
Having those 3 free throws from the no call would be awfully nice right about now
If wisky could grab a rebound every once in a while they could have a decent lead.
Not ThePritch, but I believe Scout merged with 247 not too long ago. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
17-11-1 for me. Fortunately with having been born in 1989, I didn't really know what was going on in the early 90s so I'll consider my coherent record to be 16-5!
I thought it looked like the reciever had it pinned against the dbs chest.
Not real sure. I know he spent most of his post OSU days in the CFL. According to his wiki page, he last played in 2012.
Ken-Yon Rambo. Mostly because it takes me back to my childhood of watching buckeye football on Saturdays. I had a huge poster of him in my room. Back then I didn't get too wrapped up in wins and losses, I just loved watching my favorite team play my favorite sport. I tend to take losses too seriously these days for some reason. So thinking back to those times help me get over losses much quicker!
31-17 Bucks....see it going about the same way IU did. Close at the half and we stretch it open a bit after that. This one is hard to peg though.
I'm to the point that if we get him, great I hope it works out. If he heads elsewhere, I'm not losing a bit of sleep. I understand recruits wanting their announcement to be suspenseful, but if he gets this riled up over someone assuming where he will go, then his ego is a problem. Can't see that being beneficial in the locker room. Definitely side with Herbie here. Recruits like Carmen make me really appreciate recruits like Okudah more and more.
Wanted to bump this again to see how everyone is doing. Love seeing people crush their goals.
Baron Browning is a grown ass man. Wow.
Agreed. He has been the only recruit that truly reminded me of Teddy in his film. Them long strides and once he got to full speed watch out. Pretty sure he broke his leg his freshman season, and remember hearing that he was never 100% confident in it even after he healed up. It's a shame.
I was so pumped when he committed. I'm still holding out hope!
