From Johnson in an interview: “I felt like the opportunity to go to Ohio State and represent my state and play for an opportunity to win a National Championship while wearing the O on my jersey is something bigger,”... “I could have went to schools like Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and represented their school and state and future but I feel it’s bigger to me to represent my own state and be coached by the best coaching staff in the country with great players I built a relationship with.”

Easily my favorite recruit because of his reasoning for why he committed.

Why is Michigan considered a blue blood?

I know its our rival and we want them to be good so when we beat them it looks better but really they are not a blue blood.

Maybe 60 years ago they were but not anymore. The 90s were good for them but plenty of schools that are not considered blue bloods have streaks like that. Plus if Cooper didn't develop a complex against Michigan they wouldn't of had that good of a streak.

They can emphasize The Game all they want but they still suck.

If he has played basketball his whole life I imagine he has good foot work. Orlando Pace always contributed his football success to how playing basketball helped with developing his foot work.

Hope we get Correll but the kid we are going for at center is also a great kid so we can't go wrong. I think the argument is if we should take both and I hope we do.
