From the CDC - through the end of July the average number of deaths in the United states per day was 7434 in 2020. In 2017, there was more than 7700 deaths per day in the United States. We're canceling everything due to this death rate!
Prayers for Scarlett and your family!
Not a Reds fan at all (Tigers fan....) so going back and reading this was pretty fun! reds fans get so excited only to be let down.....well, there's still time to turn it around. LOL
My grandson is 10, has played for a few years now. I don't understand a thing about the game and he talks about it like it's real life.....I'll have to remember to say something to him about this.
1. Pay off my dad's house and all his debts.
2. Build a vacation home, probably in Florida. Big enough for kids and grandkids.
3. A muscle car.
Things I wish to see:
The High School baseball team I coach win a State Championship.
My grandkids play high school/college sports
The whole family together at the beach
An end to the divide in this country
Things I wish I hadn't seen:
My mom die.
My gf with my best friend
The Browns move
Justin Verlander traded
Harbaugh's Nightmare. (No milk allowed)
My wife occasionally tries to shame me for being such a big fan and having to watch every game. She grew up on a farm in a big family that really did not ever watch football. I just console myself by looking at places like this to realize I am not abnormal or anything as she suggests.
Coached both my boys to Little League Championships.
Youngest son's team went undefeated through the league and the tournament.
I'm an assistant at the high school level now and we made back-to-back State tournament appearances. (Lost to Newark Catholic both times)
I play occasionally and I suck bad at golf!! I have never come close to a hole in one. I always say if I ever get one, it will be an ugly worm burner that takes a lucky bounce out of a sand trap and rolls in.
I have witnessed one. The kid was about 15 years old, the grandson of the club pro.
Tat game looks All-Pro.
Good luck DH - except against the Browns!!
You want a rivalry? They should hire Tom Herman.
I did not go to The Ohio State University.
Many years ago my mom worked for the county extensions agency, which is a part of OSU. She was eligible for season tickets and always gave them to me until she retired.
My youngest son graduated from OSU.
Jim Tressel for sure for me.
I was a media member during Tressel's last few years and man...some media people hated him......
The Dick Van Dyke Show - possibly my favorite sitcom ever.
One Day at at Time - (Valerie Bertinelli!!)
Walker Texas Ranger
21 Jump Street - the series not the awful movie
Movies: Sandlot, Trouble with the curve, Bad News Bears, Return to Me, Miracles from Heaven, A League of their own
Yesterday was Oho State day. Quite fun actually.
Frank: "You saying you want a piece of me?" Elaine: "I could drop you like a bag of dirt!" Frank: "You want a piece of me? You got it!!!!!"
I coach high school baseball so I miss that the most.
Work - I haven't missed at all since I go to work the same as I always did.
I have Youtube TV. I do watch a lot of stuff on Pluto also. Look up free TV and you can download several movie streaming outfits. Like Tubi.
Boston - More than a feeling
Journey - Don't stop believing
Beatles - Hey Jude
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
Eagles - Hotel California
Didn't see anyone mention this, but it seems every athlete interviewed would start his answer with "I mean"
I told my wife that this stay at home order has to be tougher on scUM fans....they get to watch the Buckeyes win over and over and over....
My favorite play - was the Tony Gonzales catch of the Troy Smith pass in the closing minute of the 2005 game. What a great comeback on their turf!!
Trouble with the curve
(I miss baseball)
I'd like to get a gazebo for my patio. Doubt if wife lets me tho. She probably wants to do something practical with the money. I hate that about her.LOL
