TCU mistakes (and a questionable call) gifted OSU 2 defensive TDs, and a botched long snap (with stupidity from TCU’s punter to not send it through the back of the endzone and take a safety) gifted OSU another.
That’s 19 points of margin that were 100% the result of mental errors from TCU and an officiating gift. In a 12 point game.
Ohio State didn’t beat TCU. Ohio State happened to be present while TCU beat themselves.

The first defensive TD
OSU recovered a TCU fumble in the end zone for a TD, but before that, had a player touching the ball with a foot out of bounds. Indisputably should have been a safety, not a TD.
