If you like mexican food hands down best tamale’s I’ve had in my life at a place called The Tamale Place. They have 3 locations in Indy. Featured in Diners Drive Ins and Dives a few years back and simply amazing. Look them up and make it a stop before coming back to Ohio and you will thank me.
I am giving a cooking demo Friday Sept 6th at the Ohio Expo Center for the Columbus Dispatch Home and Garden Show as the winner of the Ohio State Fair Chili Cook-Off. I will be cooking on stage our award winner from the fair, come out and you can see and taste the secrets courtesy of 3 Flame BBQ an award winning mobile bbq from Sunbury.
Northwestern starting running back Isaiah Bowser ran over everyone in his path while at Sidney, Ohio a few years ago and raising eyes in the Big last year.
It was Kat's Kraft BBQ & Catering from Lewis Center
Andre Gordon a senior at Sidney, OH who played with Isaiah Bowser(Northwestern) was being recruited for a short time as a QB but signed to play Basketball at VaTech. Great 2 sport athlete that maybe could come to Cbus vs VaTech if offered with potential to play both
I get it, kid wants to play he has made that clear and thinks highly of himself and he sees the writing on the wall that it will not be at OSU. He has sat on the sidelines for 2 years with no real action to speak of, if i were to transfer, would i want to sit another year if not granted a waiver? That would be 3 years of no game action at QB. If waiver is denied, why not go down a level be an all star at that level and keeping your skills sharp, win lots of games with big stats and then transfer back up to D1 and go wherever you choose. I would want to play now if in his shoes and not sit another year as a transfer.
A certain #33 who moved back to Cbus from Nashville and turned down joining Fick at UC said it would be hard to turn down a chance to coach for the Bucks. Just waiting for the opening. Would be a great hire.
Can’t see Freeman walking away from Luke at UC so why not LB coach being James Laurinaitis.
Maybe they wanted to gauge the fan reaction and see if they would go nuts like the Vols fans did with Schiano? I just dont see them taking Johnny part 2 up in the Land, the have already seen that script.
Had these at Blend of 7 Winery in Delaware and they are fantastic
Leach would have been awesome in Knoxville for sound bites since coverage on SEC is non stop by ESPN. He is classic. Him and Crazy Les in same conference would have great TV ratings.
But your missing the point. So if Cardale never lost a game as a starter and had NFL caliber cannon which he did and Won OSU a Titlle with that arm, why was he benched for JT??? Why was he not the starter then entire season with that Cannon of an arm? Just because a player has NFL talent or NFL caliber Arm does not mean we give him the starting spot and Urban understood that. This is what i am saying about Haskins. Does he have potential and shown some ability? Of course, but he has also shown some bad decisions and turnovers in real game time action that everyone seems to dismiss. Urban and staff have a tough decision to make and I have a feeling if Joe leaves he is going to burn the buckeyes down the road. He is good enough to be our starter and after all the time and work in the system he deserves a fair shot at the job and not overlooked because someone has a big arm.
So everyone wants to compare Haskins and call him Cardale#2 and sure Cardale's arm helped us to a title but that was because we had no healthy JT. Where was Cardale when he finished playing at OSU? The bench, once healthy, JT was placed back as starter so Just because Haskins has a great ARM does not give him the QB position. He has ONE throw that meant something and people want to just make him the Heisman winner and give him QB1. Sure that throw beat the Rival but is still just one throw. And if Cardale is so great of an arm, he is still just holding a clipboard in the league so i think its time to slow the rolll on touting Haskins as some football GOD who is the buckeye savior. Is he a decent talent? Sure but clearly this is a race too close to call from observers and time will tell. I lean toward Joe with the time spent in the system and clearly fits Urbans offense more and it is HIS offense no matter who is up in the box. Cardale won a title with his arm but did not keep the job with that huge arm, so lets not assume Haskins is any better. We had a few games to see what Cardale had and in the end it was not enough.
Two names both defense oriented : LeBeau and Pelini. Both buckeye bred and proven. Bring em home Urban.
Brandon Saine still holds the OHSAA state record in the 100 at 10.31
As part of my job I run cars out of gas on purpose to know the limits once the fuel light comes on in all sorts of varying conditions. It’s pretty interesting and in my own car I tried to run it out aftr the light came on and still drove 115 miles before deciding in a rainstorm to finally pull over for gas. I did it just to know my limit once the light came on. It’s all float related to when the light goes on. All manufacturers and models are different.
And his stock is about to go down a little more after the silver bullet defense gets a hold of him in a few weeks.
Urbs will have to make some sort of decision after the spring game. My choice is Joe B. And in thinking about the lack of playing time for Joe this season could it be that Urban knows what he has in Joe for his offense but wanted an extended look at Haskins this season to help make his decision come spring. Most likely one of them transfers before fall camp and Tate will be our QB2. I see good things with Joe running the show for the buckeyes, really good things.
We are going in late December and i enjoy giordanos but we can get that here in cbus, so plans are to try Pequods and it looks fantastic and better than Giordanos. Also Burts Place is back open and apparently fantastic. Look them up and try the local spots and try giordanos once back to columbus.
On the second effort, J. Dixon becomes wide open as his defender broke back to stop JT. He could have just flipped it to him.
That is Pure Gold....
He already has. Coach Mick has already transformed Joe and is now built like a brick shithouse. They already posted images of how he has transformed him since enrolling.
The Spring game will be very interesting. If Urbs does not name Joe the starter, he will take his diploma and be starting someplace by Fall. Frost has to be salivating at the once Nebraska recruit dropping in his lap. This would be bad for OSU and I would like to think Joe would not stay within the BIG. Mullen at Florida could be the biggest winner.
