Top ten ranking (if we beat ND) and I think we could have a great year. Let's not forget Urban has been pulling in top recruiting classes the past 3 years...We should be at Bama's level of reloading not rebuilding at this point. JT Barrett with a full offseason as the starting QB and reps with the ones should help him a lot. Let's not forget what he did last year as a RS frosh. Whoever wins the RB battle between Dunn, Weber and Samuel, if he's involved, I'm confident in. If Marshall stays I expect a big year from him. I also expect a huge year from Samuel with more touches. In addition Gibson, Brown if healthy, Wilson, HIll and maybe even Mack contributing as a frosh if he is as good as people seem to think he is.
Defensively, I like our DE's a lot despite losing Bosa. I think DT is a question, however, I believe we'll have a solid D line rotation with some young guys stepping up (little Bosa?). LB's: Kwon leading the defense, highly touted Booker stepping in, and Worley (if Lee leaves) has been said to be a playmaker. Secondary I'm confident with Webb (if Apple leaves) and Conley, I think, has a breakout year. Tyvis will be Tyvis, but he's a leader. Erick Smith may not quite be Vonn Bell but he's going to be a great player in my opinion. I think we have another stout defense.
The biggest question for us in my opinion, is our Offensive line with some new pieces coming in. Reminds me a lot of the 2014 season (pre braxton getting hurt). Young team with something to prove. Experienced QB ready to lead the team to victory. A lot is going to rest on JT's shoulders, but I think it sets him up for a breakout heisman type year.
