Top ten ranking (if we beat ND) and I think we could have a great year. Let's not forget Urban has been pulling in top recruiting classes the past 3 years...We should be at Bama's level of reloading not rebuilding at this point. JT Barrett with a full offseason as the starting QB and reps with the ones should help him a lot. Let's not forget what he did last year as a RS frosh. Whoever wins the RB battle between Dunn, Weber and Samuel, if he's involved, I'm confident in. If Marshall stays I expect a big year from him. I also expect a huge year from Samuel with more touches. In addition Gibson, Brown if healthy, Wilson, HIll and maybe even Mack contributing as a frosh if he is as good as people seem to think he is.

Defensively, I like our DE's a lot despite losing Bosa. I think DT is a question, however, I believe we'll have a solid  D line rotation with some young guys stepping up (little Bosa?). LB's: Kwon leading the defense, highly touted Booker stepping in, and Worley (if Lee leaves) has been said to be a playmaker. Secondary I'm confident with Webb (if Apple leaves) and Conley, I think, has a breakout year. Tyvis will be Tyvis, but he's a leader. Erick Smith may not quite be Vonn Bell but he's going to be a great player in my opinion. I think we have another stout defense.

The biggest question for us in my opinion, is our Offensive line with some new pieces coming in. Reminds me a lot of the 2014 season (pre braxton getting hurt). Young team with something to prove. Experienced QB ready to lead the team to victory. A lot is going to rest on JT's shoulders, but I think it sets him up for a breakout heisman type year.

Bama is very beatable if you sell out against the run force them to pass and have some sort of a decent offense. It's a shame that they are on the fast track to the playoffs and we are likely not in.

That was the best chance florida may have to get points all game dang it!!!

This may have been brought up in other forums but how about this possibility:

Ole Miss wins out with a manageable schedule (one tough game left vs. LSU) and wins the SEC west with 2 losses, one of which being to the mighty mighty Memphis Tigers.  They would get in to the SEC champ game over Bama with the head to head win and 1 SEC loss. Could a 2 loss SEC champ get left out? I sure hope so. I love SEC tears.

I wonder if JT has primarily gotten reps on run plays in practice and perhaps that's why we have such a run heavy attack right now. That and we are trying to put them away in the fourth while running clock

I know PSU's D is good but we are just shooting ourselves in the foot constantly, just as we've done all season

It must not be hurting recruiting too badly considering we have the #1 classes in both 2016 and 2017...

Who cares. Win out and we are in. Lose along the way and then things like perception matter. Until then, no need to pay attention to what the pundits say. It's going to continue to change as teams drop/play poorly anyways. Honestly, if anything, this is a good thing for us because if the players pay any attention to this stuff whatsoever, they will feel disrespected and hopefully feel the need to prove themselves. Just keep winning.

MSU bc I can't stand these Michigan fans blowing up my Twitter TL acting like they are going to win the national championship after a couple of wins. Someone needs to put them in their place I can't handle weeks more of this.

I've been listening to college football radio programming on Sirius XM as of late on my way to work and there was a lot of hype this week about Utah with a lot of people saying they are the number 1 team in the nation. I know the bucks haven't played well throughout the season but when you pick a guy off 5 times in one game that game should not come down to the last play no matter what your rank is.

Definitely. You're not going to find a more complete back in CFB that can play all 3 downs.
