The rust was evident Saturday. It needs to be completely shaken off tonight as the Buckeyes move forward. I suspect Holtmann has gotten the attention of these young men in film and practice. I expect to see the Buckeyes play very well tonight.
That is why the game is Friday night, so they can bale on Saturday.
If Harrison chooses Ohio State, and the possibility seems very real now, that will be a huge 'flip'. That said, I will wait for the official announcement tomorrow.
If Fields chooses Ohio State, that would be huge. He would thrive under Day's tutelage. That said, nothing is for sure right now so we shall see how this shakes out.
Woody is still #1 for his longevity and excellence.
Tressel and Urban are very close. Urban has taken Ohio State, and forced others in the BIG, to another level. Therefore, I say Urban is just a bit ahead of Tressel.
The fact is that Ohio State is an elite program and has been for many years and Buckeye Nation has had many elite coaches.
David, I agree that a great thing about Zeke's kindness is that it was after a very tough day for him and the Cowboys.
The bowl practices will be very important for player like Ruckert on the cusp of a lot of playing and contributing time. His attitude is great and that will help his development. Keep grinding, Jeremy.
Really good gesture by Zeke. Made me smile.
That Penn State player is probably still having nightmares about getting completely annihilated by Mitchell. Wow!
Great list, Chris. Absolute ineptitude and failure.
Gotta love Winovich's pic with the Outback Bowl patch on his jersey. Some careers peak earlier than others.
TTUN is The Rival and one should have disdain for The Rival. Many others have listed reasons from the Cooper years, their unmerited arrogance, they worst helmets in football, only to mention a few. But mostly, they are The Rival, disdain is necessary.
If anyone is going to be able to be a first or second round pick, I would advise them to go, unless they want to enjoy another year of college football. Ultimately, they need to make a decision that benefits their families and their own future. It is a tough call in some cases. Let's remember that Dre'mont is really happy that he returned for another season.
