I'm voting "Sam Web" as the new nickname. We combine all their rushing yards and act like it's one person. The Heisman odds would go nuts with this "Sam Web" guy.
If I was doing this statistical analysis and saw that Kent State was number 1 in experience...I'd probably decide it was a useless statistic and trash it.
Looking at the history of issues and the soft responses Stoops has offered...it wouldn't surprise me if he gets suspended for the first snap of the first game. But I mean...we know he'll definitely be on the field against Ohio State.
I've always been a JT supporter at the QB position. Jones may have had a couple of games that he did well in, but let's not forget those three games were also Zeke's three best of the season. The running games effectiveness definitely helped him be able to find softer coverage in the defense when he wanted to throw. Not to mention he was throwing to Devin Smith.
Rewind to JT and you see the offense really clicking on all cylinders. The spread, the run, the zone, the deep threat; all of it works when JT's in the game.
JT is the right decision.
I wonder if Carter's comments were what Borland was referring to in his ESPN piece the other day. Either way, Cris Carter is a stand up guy so I'm not worried about it. Although, definitely a poor choice if it was a joke.
"Teams almost never go wire to wire #1."
*cough*...Alabama, for instance lol
This just made my Friday.
There are a lot of reasons true Buckeye fans dislike him, but here is a pretty good example of the kind of stuff he pulls: http://www.elevenwarriors.com/forum/anything-else/2015/01/48758/buck-i-guy-does-it-again
ESPN probably did it just to hack off Buckeye Nation. If they really know us...they know he ain't us.
"Creating a safeguard against laziness is the goal of the criticism." That's constructive lol.
Michigan's Schedule: Utah, Oregon State, UNLV, BYU, Maryland, Northwestern, Michigan State, Minnesota, Rutgers, Indiana, Penn State, Ohio State. It's hard for me to look at that schedule and see any way they could come up with 9 wins.
Different uniform...same outcome.
So...I started my day off feeling pretty good. But after reading this article I'm totally bummed out. 7 months?!!!! At least we know that time is going to be spent producing another incredible run at the CFP.
Loved those big runs! The slobs and wide receivers were freight train blockers. Couple that with killer running...and we all know how that worked out lol.
I'd be ok going for 2 every time against ttun lol. Woody would want it that way.
All he said was that he "was hurt." That's reasonable. Doesn't mean he doesn't want to be a big part of this team and contribute.
Everyone knows their plans 4 years in advance. Go 5-7 with the last loss being to tOSU. Repeat yearly.
I get that your pointing out that the position coaches are part of the team and that they represent the team as a whole in recruiting. And...I think I'll sleep the same either way lol. But the main reason we won a national championship this year is that Urban preaches the "man next to you" philosophy. Team is way more than a position coach. I'd say it's an extremely large "if" that Weber chose OSU, even in part, because he had a guarantee that he would be coached by Drayton.
If that ends up being the case we don't need the Cass Tech pipeline.
I get that this doesn't look good for the university or UFM, but you play for the team not the position coach. You play for each other and the fans. Once he gets in with the guys it might ease his level of hurt, if he stays with his LOI.
I don't know if it's normal, but Hairball did a good job of making it classless.
I remember watching Tressellball and thinking, "Man, our defense is so good! I wish we could turn around and put major points on these guys." Urban seems to understand the need to hold the gas pedal down on offense the whole game.
I thought the tweets were funny but borderline unsportsmanlike. We already beat them, they know it, move on. That being said, you can bet your life a coach had a little discussion about that and gave them a choice to "retire" from twitter for a while. Tactful teaching.
That chick at the 1:41 mark looks like Elika Sadeghi.
