The last two weeks have been the worst two of the season.  Our linebackers and secondary are average at best.  But, we still have a Heisman candidate QB and a high powered offense.

31-27 OSU

Would love to see them get matched up against psu in the big ten tournament.  There is a bad taste in my mouth thanks to the last two losses from them.  It would be nice to see a motivated buckeye team go up against them but then again we might just match up poorly against them and I dont want to see us get bounced early.

Would love to see KBD get going this last regular season game.  He has struggled recently but I think a player of his caliber can get it going and hopefully build momentum for himself for the big ten and NCAA tournaments.  If we want to make a run in either we will need him.

Micheal Thomas.  A true pro WR would do great things with a pro-style QB like Haskins.  He was horribly under used during his time at OSU because of the spread offense we ran and the constant running of QBs.  With a pocket passer like Haskins at QB Micheal Thomas would excel.

For some reason the committee only likes to say teams have a weak schedule if you are from the big ten, like Wisconsin.  But, if you are from the challenging SEC where teams "beat each other up" during conference play it does not matter.

If kam and CJ r hitting their shots we will be hard to beat.  Even when KBD struggles from the floor his presence draws the defense towards him and opens up the scoring for other players on the court.  Once other players start hitting their shots they will have to help off KBD and then he will get going again.

I think Holtmann will find a way to motivate the team tonight after two disappointing losses.  I think we will finally come out strong because of senior night and everyone will recognize this is their last chance to play at the schott.  Buckeyes win big tonight!

I agree the “tude” factor that Young brings to the floor gives him the edge over Potter in my eyes.  Can’t wait to see these young guys develop in years to come.  They both have bright futures ahead of themselves.

I think we caught penn state on the wrong night.  Yes, the defense was lacking but penn state was knocking down everything.  They shot nearly 60% from the field and 80% from three.  The Carr buzzer beater pretty much summed up the night for the buckeyes.  Even when there was defense penn state managed to hit more than their fair share of difficult shots.  Also, I hate to be "that guy" that blames the refs for every loss but i couldn't help but notice every call that could have gone either way went in penn states favor.  Its hard when you lose the majority of the 50/50 calls, penn state shoots 60%, and your best players have to sit out because of foul trouble.  This being said I love how they fought until the end.  Their effort is always there.

Although the greatest contributing factor seems to be your record in making the playoffs.  It seems to me that strength of schedule is only used to better southern schools resumes.  For example the committee used Georgia's win over ND, Clemson's win over Auburn, Miami's win over ND to boost them in the standings.  Later we find out that some of these wins are not as impressive as they seem at first.  Also, in years prior to this the committee seemed to really stress SOS and used that to boost SEC schools higher in the rankings because the SEC is such a good conference.  But when the big ten is the best conference SOS seems to not matter anymore.  And, when it came down to it this year and hard decisions had to be made Alabama was chosen over osu and strength of schedule seemed to not matter at all.  The big ten dominated in bowl season while for the most part the sec struggled, I hope the committee takes into consideration to the schools scheduling this year and also realize the big ten is the best conference in that nation.
