Man, I was fine with a stuff happens, refs get things wrong attitude on the catch/fumble. But now that I’ve heard his explanation, I want to burn someone’s friggin house down. What BS.
Agreed 100% Philly.
Really? Anyone remember the last time a guy with a “unique perspective” swooped in to help an Ohio State athlete with sky’s the limit talent, and immediately started throwing bombs at the NCAA rather than work within the system to reach a favorable outcome for everyone?
Ask Maurice Clarett how that turned out.
CY2’s statement was on point. His attorney sounds like an idiot so far.
I know that I’m not the only one that read that in his voice and is ready run through a brick wall now......
Anybody know if that’s any kind of record for consecutive conference championships in a season? I mean any sport any conference.
I’d love to stay and chat about this, but I’m gonna go watch MGoBlog burn to the ground.
Would you rather give up 100+ points to Ohio State and Florida or Maryland and Purdue?
If he’s still around next year, I think they maybe ought to think about a new rider on Sciano’s contract that forfeits his bonuses in any unranked teams roll up 50 points on the Buckeyes. Just a thought.
On the other hand, Thad offered this year’s Mr. Basketball when he was a freshman and one of Holtmann’s first moves was to let him walk out the door.
From ESPN: “Steelers lead NFL with eight Pro Bowlers -- WR Antonio Brown, QB Ben Roethlisberger, RB Le'Veon Bell, K Chris Boswell, LB Ryan Shazier, LT Alejandro Villanueva, OG David DeCastro, C Maurkice Pouncey. DE Cam Hayward, with 10 sacks, easily the biggest snub.”
This is a Buckeye Nation fail. No reason that we couldn’t have gotten Cam on the list.
Um, I think so. The team in white and grey won. Was that Ohio State? I couldn’t tell.
Ah, yes. Reminds me of one of my favorite songs:
Drive, drive on down the field,
Men of the Whi-ite and Grey!
On a related note, these unis are awful.
I don’t have a problem with alts. Kinda liked the greys, and don’t think I was opposed to any of the previous alts.
These are.......... Awful.
Maybe if we were Penn State fans.
Honest to God. What the Holy Hell, 11W?
I don’t remember the int, but if someone was getting bailed out for a blown coverage, it was probably Nickey.
Honestly don’t know why revenge would be a motivator for Ohio State. We lost so what? It didn’t change the outcome of our season.
Now Penn State on the other hand? They won, won the Big Ten and STILL didn’t get into the playoff.
If I were PSU I’d want revenge for that big time.
Where the hell is there space to put a stadium anywhere downtown?
What's funny is that when Parris Campbell left the field, I turned to my buddy and said, "Welp, at least J.T.'s completion rate is gonna go up."
Dude torched us in our house. He can plant the flag if he wants. We deserved it.
Running which plays? Theirs or ours? He's not gonna be any more successful in that offensive mess than JT. No way.
Really? How'd Tressel do with Clarett? (That's not a slam of The Vest. Just a reality check on the limited influence a college coach can have.)
To be clear, Judge Bruzzesse had nothing to do with the rape trial. So the shooting had nothing to do with that. Also, Malik wasn't raised by his father. He was fostered by others, who did a pretty good job. Unfortunately, he fell under some bad influences when he joined the Steubenville football team and the rest of that is history. He made a huge mistake, and to some, its unforgivable. But he's trying to get his life right now with a college education, and should not be further tarred with his father's actions.
I'm all for putting Boise State in their place. But not on their field. There should be something in the Constitution about painting a football field anything other than green.
Comment of the day candidate, NJPam. Perfect.
