I hope some of these games are scheduled for 3 pm EDT. I'm in PDT and it's hard to convince myself (wife?) it's ok to open a bottle of wine at 9am.
I'd rather be dissed to begin the season than ranked 1 or 2. I love the fact that some knucklehead picked us third in the division. Players see that and it adds fuel to the fire. I hope they pick us to lose to Meatchicken every year.
We live in exciting times. Our only worries are that some year we might lose 2 games and end up 11-2. I'll stock up on vino now to be ready.
In case you're all still wondering what this year holds for the Buckeye football team here it is. Undefeated, beating both Clemson and LSU to win it all. You heard it first right here.
If OSU truly wants to be great they have to recruit defensive players like Clemson and Alabama. Where do they get those 320 lb guys with no baby fat?
I'm just excited to be thinking Buckeye basketball again. Hell it's July! Holtman has everyone expecting a good team and it's great to be able to have expectations again.
Brooklyn signs two defective players. It'll be two years before KD has a 4 inch vertical leap.
Fields only transferred to Ohio State because of Haskins. Once Haskins told him he would beat Michigan every year, he had to come.
Show up at the Lions tryouts. That offensive line is weak and needs starters and backups.
Coming in fresh at mid-season will be a huge boost to the Browns. They have enough good backs to carry them through until then.
This might be the season they take the leap from Clowns to Browns.
The Steelers still need to get rid of Tomlin so they can move forward. He reminds me of John Cooper—wasted a whole decade of talent. He could always win games but not the big ones.
Coaching here for 3 years is like getting a heart transplant. You notice feelings, likes and dislikes, you've never had before and suddenly you take them on as part of you until one day you realize you're someone new.
Those that stay will beat TTUN—multiple times.
Just like every other year, I expect great things from the Bucks.
Good teams but strange list. I think being left off the list helps the team. I hope they continue to get picked to have a lame season, maybe 3rd in the league. Nothing fires up young players like being picked to stink.
If OSU fails to get into the playoff they'll get Miami in a bowl game.
OSU has won it all with a backup and won it all with a pedestrian QB named Krenzel. Whatever we end up with will be fine. It's nice we have so many options. That said, I think Tate transferred to hurt OSU, hoping Fields doesn't get his playing rights this year and he doesn't feel Baldwin is ready.
National Champs on the horizon!
Winning a Natty is a wild prediction but it takes more than just a quarterback. Everything has to fall into place for it to happen. The rest of his thoughts seem right on.
There is a cure out there right now for his health issue. It's called 4 years at $12 million.
Williams would be a great add to the OSU staff.
He'd look really good in a OSU jacket.
6 team playoff would be enough to quiet the masses. #3,4,5, and 6 play each other to see who moves on to play #1 and 2—who enjoy a bye week.
I'll bet a couple of his recruits jump ship and open their commitments.
Hafley is a huge hire—great upgrade to Davis!
Next year—National Champs!
Make sure you remember to give me props in January 2020 because of the crap you direct my way after reading this.
