Seeing that image reminds me that I'd like to see one more Rashod Berry stiff arm before the end of season.
2016 defense was absolutely insane. All that NFL talent in the secondary. Wish we had more than 1 year of Malik Hooker. Regardless, the defense started to spiral out of control after Fickell left and Schiano took control of the linebackers and scheme inside the box. So I'm going to have to agree to disagree with you. 2016's success wouldn't have happened without Fickell.
Weren't there reports that Day tried to retain Grinch? Regardless, on the outside it appeared that Grinch just collected paychecks. In Oklahoma it looks like Grinch has improved their defense which didn't seem hard to do. He has carried over his complete absence of recruiting to Oklahoma. Thank you for Ryan Watts Mr. Grinch.
Can we clone Malik Harrison? This isn't a knock on the other LBs at all they've been great, but Harrison has brought a level of violence to the position that I haven't seen since the Bobby Carpenter, AJ hawk, and Anthony Schelgel era.
Or you could look at it this way. Wisconsin beat Northwestern 24-15. Nebraska beat Northwestern 13-10. Ohio State beat Nebraska 48-7. Therefore Ohio state > Wisconsin.
He was the best player in the secondary in the Northwern and Michigan games last year. I feel like hes been targeted less than Okudah and Arnette this year. NFL teams will notice him with today's analytics and since it's OSU and not a low profile d2 school. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a first rounder in 2020 draft.
One of our Dlineman (want to say it was Dremont) got called for horse collar when they pulled Saquon Barkley down by the back of his jersey during the 2016 PSU game.
Edit: It was Tyqaun Lewis. They must have changed the horse collar rule since 2016 or they flat out blew that call.

Any concern about NPF being listed as a costarter at RT in the game week depth chart and then having Alabi start? Is this just Alabi being more deserving of playing time (i feel like he's been here longer than JT) or is any of this a bad sign for NPF?
Yeah he's potentially a 4.3 guy
I kind of want him to play well just to hear his name called a lot.
Can't stand how ND isn't in a P5 conference.
Oklahoma has been the CFB equivalent of the 1990s Buffalo Bills since the BCS era. It always baffles me how OSU would (and still) get criticized for their bowl and NC game record while Oklahoma keeps racking up runner up and playoff participant trophies. I guess when Adrian Peterson and Lincoln Riley are tied to your program losing big games is acceptable.
As someone who lives with and interacts with TTUN fans daily, there is something particulalry special about them being on the verge of a b10 title game and playoff spot only to be knocked down by the good guys on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. That being said, I never root for them whatsoever.
I'm really surprised Pryor isn't part of the bullet depth and is part of the deep safety depth instead. He seems to hit like a LB.
Is Tyreke Johnson injured?
I almost said this, but I'd rather see the pick 6 from Landers
BB Landers pick 6.
I like the way you think. If you need a letter of recommendation for anything, let me know.
JJB definitely stood out as the best of the nonstarting DE group in the spring game. Great spring game performances always mean superb collegiate careers (I don't know how to change to italic font from my phone but first sentence is serious second is sarcasm).
What do you mean? Because you cant see the ball or because the first down marker isn't in the right spot?
Dixon has arthritis in one knee and tendinitis in the other. Again, I'm not a doctor, but it's definitely documented that he has been dealing with arthritis. https://www.google.com/amp/s/247sports.com/college/ohio-state/Article/Ohio-State-Buckeyes-football-Johnnie-Dixon-NFL-Draft-Houston-Texas-undrafted-free-agent-131554356/Amp/
Spring games don't mean much but JJB stood out to me as the most impactful DE during the scrimmage.
I'm no doctor, but knee arthritis may be more difficult to overcome. I can think of a few collegiate football players who came back from multiple ACL tears, while Dixon may be the only cfb player to overcome arthritis. Remember Trey Johnson from the 2013 recruiting class?
Hartline is an animal. Give that man a raise.
