The fact that Comcast dropped BTN in all states outside the Big Ten foorprint smells like influence from ESecPN to me. If only the cable companies would drop ESecPN!

This cruise/cause is awesome! I have been on other cruises before but now i doubt i would go on any others because it wont compare to this one. You will end up with +2500 new Buckeye friends and you get to be a part of a great cause that will blow you away to see how Buckeyes pay it forward without even thinking twice. You will also get to see the former athletes in a light that you would never get to see otherwise. I cannot say strongly enough that any Buckeye fan needs to go on this cruise at least once in your life! My only advice... It literally is a 5 day tailgate so be sure to train your liver ahead of time! Travel Partners, everyone who is involved in the planning, and all the former athletes are top notch and make this something you will never forget! GO BUCKS! BEAT CANCER!

I just made the mistake of looking at ESPN's coverage of SEC Day, uhh I mean, "National" Signing Day. Obviously we all know their sec bias but they are laying it on pretty thick this morning over there. Don't make my mistake!

Hey Andrew, I posted the below comment in last nights Hurry Up thread but this is probably the better place. Sorry about that.

Similar to what Nola asked...Is there any recruiting advantage to us playing in Texas as opposed to Fiesta Bowl where we have played numerous times or some other Bowl Game in less recruiting rich areas? Since we aren't in the playoff, do the recruits care about the bowl game/matchup? Do the coaches have any benefits they can take advantage of playing in Texas i.e. being in close proximity to someone they may be targeting? This year may not be the best example because of the early signing period and I believe Anthony Cook will be out of the picture by then but I am wondering if Gene Smith lobbied behind the scenes on which bowl we got to help on the recruiting front or if there is no correlation at all to the bowl game and recruiting (at least once out of the playoffs). I would think playing in the Fiesta Bowl again would have been a negative and the Cotton Bowl may be a positive especially with us trying to maintain our footprint in Texas with Tom Herman starting to lock down the lonestar state again. Just curious if you have spoken to recruits in the past about this and/or any of the coaches. Thanks for all you do. GO BUCKS! BEAT USC!

Hovenaut has it right...

I'd simply like to appreciate JTBIV (and the other Buckeyes who will depart soon) these last remaining days

Hey 11W staff, can we set up a blog or a way for J.T. to go into everyone's work place to heckle and complain to their boss about how they are holding their company back from its full potential? Maybe that will help kill these JT threads, I mean it worked for Seinfeld and it would be the Ultimate Quarterback Revenge! Apack, sorry, couldn't resist! Let's just hope JT gets one final victory and that our next QB takes us to the promise land once again!

I hear ya Chef. I have no evidence of this but I almost think its a little bit of a slight towards the TTUN that we wear whatever we want and win. As meaningless as it sounds, it seems like it may be a little bit of a psychological play on our part. I mean, its not like UFM doesn't have a degree in Psychology however Tress started it if I recall so maybe its just about the $$$.

You should ask the players, the recruits and the coaches what they think. Seems like most of them enjoy the change up and to me that is what matters, well, along with getting that "W"! I also think Gene Smith is going to go check out the alternate jersey sale numbers before making a decision based on your petition. Just my .02 worth. GO BUCKS! BEAT WISCONSIN!

Did anyone else see Urban Meyer's fist pump in the 4th quarter when the students were trying to get him to respond to them? That was one of the biggest fist pumps I have seen him do. It looked as if he was practicing punching that khaki wearing coach from up north!! Someone has to have a .gif?? Coming up from Palm Beach County, we have been saying our Alumni Club game watch events have been louder than the 'shoe for the last few years (half jokingly) but the atmosphere Saturday was electric! Great to see and be a part of! GO BUCKS!
