Weave77, only point I disagree with is Ramzy was not one of the most critical of Urban, he was THE most critical. Huge commentary against him way before all the facts were out. I do not read anything he writes....only read this because I didn't know it was his.
Highlight of the day....although it will fall to a distant second if our dog makes it out of surgery today in Cbus.
"If anybody finds my estranged father, politely return him to his loving cats. They are concerned for his safety"
Is it just me, or is this a veiled reference to a missing DJ?.
WB, I think the statement "Meyer put all his chips on the table when he SELECTED Haskins" says it all. He knew Burrow would leave, knew how thiin it left us. Many, including Haskins (at least according to rumor) thought Burrow won the competition. Burrow did what he needed to do. For better (hopefully no injuries) or worse this was our coaches call. We all hope he was right.
You have to trust the coaches. They believe that Haskins is the guy and I have no problem with that. However, I do think we would be in a world of hurt (knock on wood) if we had to go full time with Martell. He appears to struggle with his accuracy and just doesn't seem to be ready yet.
Question.. In the case of Joe Burrow being a graduate transfer, does OSU have any say on which D1 school he can transfer to? I know that as an undergrad (ex., Antwuan Jackson), Auburn would not let him transfer directly to Ohio State. Have never seen how this applies to a grad transfer.
Sorry for your loss. Lost my mom a few years back and it still hurts. Try to remember that even in the tough times...no, especially in the tough times, God is still in charge. You will be in our families prayers today.
Bottom line, What freshman running back would you trade him for? Certainly not Taylor. I personally wouldn't trade him for any other freshman back, everything considered.
My personal MVP from the Alabama game: Threw the TD before halftime, Blocked two/three guys on Zeke's TD run, Caught the Onside kick to seal the game....Great Buckeye
My concern also, but you stated it much better than I could have.
Yes it will, but the pictures will last forever....What a great recruiting tool for tOSU.....Come to tOSU and be a National Champion or just get the haircut. lol
Now that is funny!!! and accurate...
It seems to me that their no huddle is designed to prevent the other team from substituting. Once they have accomplished that and know the defensive personnel on the field, they call the play.
A little off topic, but I just realized that the highpoint of _ichigans season for them had to be the dropped punt that MS ran in for the score..... Since they can't beat us on the field, that play, and subsequent loss, was the only way for them to prevent us from getting into the playoff.
Not so crazy KJones, Rumor is that Miles is putting a lot on this season. I could see him taking Auburn at home and squeaking by Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Old Miss in Oxford (who I also think beats Alabama early) could be the deciding game for the SECWest.
4. Clemson (FSU at home)
I actually live in a township about 7 miles outside Oberlin (OH). However, if I called myself "CamdenBuck", I thought people would think I was from New Jersey. As for my avatar, I didn't have many pictures on my computer so it was a choice between my feet relaxing in Maui or one of my granddaughters....I picked my feet.
I hear you Defiance, but this is giving inside info to a team that we fully hope/expect to meet again in Arizona next year. If he were still a coach here, it would have been considered disloyal as a minimum. He was only gone a short time when he agreed to do this. I find it hard to believe he would have made an "enemy" of Saban by just saying no. I am aware that UFM looks wherever he thinks he needs to in order to improve our program but this just seems....wrong. I guess I'm just a homer....
It just seems to me that if he was being loyal to tOSU and UFM, he would have politely declined.
Maybe I missed a thread about it, but does it bother anyone that Herman flew to Alabama to debrief them on how the Buckeyes beat them. I loved him while he was here but that kind of bugged me.
