Boy, terrific coaching once again.  Fields out for the season first game.  Put in Martel...Oh wait, that won't work.  Back to the good old Taco Bowl!  Disaster for Day.

Let the Ryan Day hype  continue.  He may be fine but don't start whining and crying when Ohio State starts to struggle.  The appointment of Day as head coach came way to fast.  There  were plenty of fine, proven coaches looking for jobs who could have made an impact right away as Ohio State coach.  Personally, I was hoping  for Bob Stoops or Tom Herman, maybe Kelly form UCLA.  Anyhow, we are  lucky that Urban is still at the university.

Well that is the worst OSU game I have seen in a long time.  Well, maybe Clemson beating the crap out of Ohio State and then Iowa dumping point all over our Ohio heroes not long ago rate with this terrible game.  You can blame individual coaches all you want but you are wrong to do so.  This is Meyer's bad.  He is the $7million head coach.  He is the one who needs to be on top of the whole team and if a coach is messing up, he needs to do something about it period.
The good thing is, we are all going to survive this loss and our wonderful lives will continue on.  Don't have a cow about this!

It is call "motivation."  Ever heard of that word?  TCU has a great coach and has produced some really good teams since moving to the Big12 especially in 2014 (12-1) 2015 ( 11-2 ) and 2017 (11-3).  Of course there were three bad years where they went  17-24.  But the bottom line is no one knows how good Ohio State is or how good TCU is.  This is the start of a different season for both teams, this is the first real test.

But wait.  Where is the post where this site said Drake would not be the one making the final decision?  Must have been bad information...Duh.  My idea is the best and here it is.  Even if coach is found to have done nothing wrong with his  reporting  procedure, and the worst thing he did was to lie at the big meeting, he should donate his earning for the nearly three weeks he has been off to a local shelter for abused women. The university should match the amount also.  Or, just make a $250,000 (or more) donation to a number of different organizations in Columbus who help people.  Case closed.

Alabama to the BIG E. Clemson to the BIGW. WV to the BIG W. Pitt to the BIGW, Rutgers to the ACC. Illinois anywhere  but the Big.  Iowa to the BIG12,  Maryland to the ACC. Oklahoma  to the SEC. Texas to the  SEC.  Boise to the Big W.  Don't have a cow.  Remember this is just for fun!

Was on the Herman bandwagon but fell off quickly when his name popped up as possibly being involved with the Smith case.  None of us ever thought of him when Smith was fired.  If you did, you deserve the Sherlock Holmes award for 2018.  Now, a lot of good names have surfaced to replace Myer if that happens.  David Shaw, Stanford.  Chris Peterson, Washington, Justin Fuente VT, and others.  Of course the big catch would be Bob Stoops.  Ryan Day might be a good head coach but we will have to wait and see what happens with him.  Hopefully, none of these men will ever have to be contacted in the near future as Myer will still be our coach for years to come.
