I would say a little of both. It was a recruiting pitch and maybe he said the same things at Michigan(who knows). I will say the TTUN fans continue to cry about how recruits are getting paid by schools and the academic part is way harder at TTUN. Funny but most of the recruits we sign were recruited by TTUN. JH looks to me like he is on drugs during interviews, looks like he has a hard time processing questions.
Bucks 19. I hope your right but when Troy Smith did the Heisman parade we got curb stopped by Urban. Now we have that and a coach headed elsewhere. Concerning when you line up against the Clemson offense.
I am luke warm on Coombs. Thought he was overrated when he was here, My preference would be Ash but looks like he is headed to Texas. My concern is the attention away from Clemson to find a replacement.
Makes no sense that Hafley would go to Boston College. Urban always said if you going to leave make sure the job has a good recruiting base and the northeast does not. He should wait for a better job if he wants to leave.
Also love Jack Miller and he will become a stud. He has just had some bad luck.
The secondary played better in the second half due to Michigan being behind and one giving up on the run. The secondary in the first half with the backups looked confused and looking around at each other.(Banks on the TD)
My concern after the Rutgers game is the read option with Clifford. He had a big run against Indiana so he is capable . I do believe Chase will be angry and hopefully that makes a difference in not allowing Clifford time to find the TE. Look for quick throws from State Penn.
If he stays around and is healthy he could have a starting spot. He looked damn good against Wis.
Well he sure seems like a great fit but I am cautious since the talent he has around him was all Urban. Not to rain on our parade but remember Larry Coker from Miami, FL and what happened there. I don't think there is a comparison(not even close) but 3 years down the road we will see what we got. Love everything so far.
Love my Buckeyes but 44 is a lot. Tempted to take Maryland + 44.
Let's hope Ryan keeps the recruits like Urban did. This team is loaded thanks to Urban. As far as X's & O's go Day is great but recruiting is the life blood and he needs to stay after it. He is off to a great start for 2020.
Needless to say C Young has been lights out but Devon H and Tommy T have been the most improved. Devon is wrecking the middle and hopefully it continues down the stretch since PSU and Michigan are looming.
Oh boy let's hope this does not start the jinx. Just got out and play well and let the chips fall where they may
Small but fast. He is 2022 prospect so plenty of time left on this one
The first of big tests we will face down the stretch, Our best win is the Bearcats and they are considered almost a mid major. No turnovers and we should win but have to stop the run better then we did against NW.
Leave it to Damon to open mouth and nothing good comes out. I hate when players talk about how good they are and how good the team is. Shut up and play
He has been as good as you could expect. Just hope he starts to throw the ball away at times. Beware of Northwestern defense. Pat F knows the only way this game stays close is for his defense to play out of their minds.
My point is I think PSU has the most explosive athletes that we will see in the regular season.
Except for a few long runs MSU seemed to overpower our o-line. Watching Penn State I think they are the real threat. Their defensive front seems to be really strong and blocking them could be an issue.
This game worries me. OSU has to start fast.
Need to start fast and take the will from Nebraska. This game will tell us what this defense is really about. Our schedule has been soft so this is a test.
We will see where the run defense is at Nebraska. The QB and running backs for Nebraska looked awfully quick last week so this weekend will be a test. I will say that the D-Line is the difference so far this year but the competition has not been the greatest.
Agree with cplunk. His constant celebration gets old even when he did nothing. Hope he continues his play but my worries as I mentioned before is he will start taking chances and will get burnt. Love the way the defense looks at this point but lots of football to be played and so far the schedule has been kind to us. If they lock down Nebraska that will be the benchmark.
Damon is cocky and always has been Not a big fan of the constant look at me. Let's hope his play continues. I just feel like that type of attitude is going to lead to taking chances and that may get him toasted, especially against Nebraska.
So far so good. I hope the defense continues its trend because the schedule is just starting to ramp up. The Nebraska game will be the first true test.
