The success of Michael Thomas in the NFL has me thinking that scheme is a big problem. We have such a hard time getting people open even when we have time. Though blocking has been an issue and Barrett not hitting receivers until they are well out of their break is also a problem, dbs are just too locked in.
I really don't believe that J.T. is worse.
Is it possible that we are too worried about getting certain players touches? I think Chris' point about Jalin versus Samuel is spot on. What concerns me is that we have players that are not true WRs running patterns and learning on the job. I don't blame Braxton or Curtis because they are learning new positions but is at the detriment of both those players and others?
Rarely comment but BD's comments are lame. This kid has worked his ass off to receive an offer from a D1 school. It is a culmination of a lifetime and I am sure he will continue to work hard for this opportunity of a lifetime. I hope he doesn't read some of the posts from those who were never athletes or haven't had a son go through the process. Congratulations A.J. Enjoy this moment.
