Here's a brief quote from the first article, which is actually quite short.  Not trying to be negtive, just nuanced. Like I said, the pictures are quite beautiful.

"Papuan tribal leader Benny Wenda, now based in Oxford, said: “What Jimmy Nelson says about us is not true. My people, the Dani people, were never headhunters, it was never our tradition."

In regards to the tribal pictures, they are quite beautiful but it's important to keep them in context. The photographer, Jimmy Nelson, is controversial in that many of the tribes members he has taken photographs of state that he has exploited and misrepresented them and their history to sound more violent or "savage" in his book.

I agree with the OP and everyone else's sentiments but I imagine that the reason he was picked over Kyle Snyder is that Rutherford won the Hodge Trophy for top collegiate wrestler this year.  That decision also seems ridiculous given Snyder's bona fides.  On the other hand Snyder is nominated for the ESPY for Best Male US Olympic Athlete. So if you decide to go on their site, please vote for him.

I saw that and thought it looked much older. It's more likely from around 1905, not 1950. At that time "Malt" meant medicinal. The Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906 really limited this type of advertising for "patent medicines".
