How in the heck have we gotten to the point where Nick Bosa will not be the #1 pick and Dwayne Haskins will not even be the first QB taken... Oh yeah, the Arizona Cardinals hired a guy who was just canned for failing to win at Texas Tech and employed as a college OC.  I need a job as NFL exec.

I wanna see the Browns make a play to get Michael Jordan... I think he's an undervalued prospect and Cleveland needs good solid youth up front.... Interested to see where everyone goes.  I also think Johnnie Dixon goes late and all three of those WRs find themselves on NFL rosters come this fall.  I know Terry has blown up, rightfully so... He's gonna be good as will Paris, but Dixon might sneak up on some people and make a splash too.  Love those guys.

Dang man... I live in Kentucky but I am usually good for a trip up there once a month or so now that basketball is over and football hasn't started yet.  I usually make the 4 hour drive north for all the home football games and I had season tickets for basketball this year.  I stopped at local liquor stores on my route up to the Schott almost every home game.  I found some nice scores such Blanton's, EH Taylor, Angel's Envy Cask Strength and a few more but I haven't been lucky enough to nab any Weller down here since probably November.

Yeah.. Given the signing is Friday I am not at all shocked people aren't bidding on it.  The asking $500 isn't outrageous.  If you were to tell me that there was going to be a limited release bottle with Urban on it and have some members of the 2014 signing it with him... Yeah, pretty sure $500 isn't an outlandish ask.  But thanks, evidently I will need all the luck I can get moving this bottle for anything more that a 350 ML of Kentucky Gentleman and a half smoked pack of Marlboro Lights.

I am on my last bottle of Weller Antique.... I need MORE... You run across anymore and can grab it at the MSRP I wouldn't mind buying some off ya and giving you a little profit for your troubles.  The Special Reserve is all I have been able to load up down here lately.

Dude... You obviously don't live down here... These bottles were going for $125 the day they were released at $50 a bottle.  Trust me with only 18,000 released and approximately 500 selected to be signed... There 100% will be a market for them.  No one is getting this bottle to open it and drink the bourbon. Lol.  Hints the reason it gets filled with the same old jazz that is put in every other mass produced bottle.

I appreciate the run down though that you ended with... Those are good secondary market evaluations.

Here is something for reference... Bottle hasn't even been signed yet.

Wanted to revisit this thread as it has been about a year... I have added quite a few bottles to my collection, but as others have expressed... It is hard to find a better bourbon to pour than Blanton's for the price, when you are paying the true MSRP.  I have scored a bottle of Maker's Mark Keenland Release with Coach Calipari and the 2012 team being paid tribute to... On top of that I have been selected to have it signed.  So I am hoping I can flip this bottle for a hefty profit or I can trade it for something crazy rare I don't already have.  What would be some rare bottles the secondary market values around $500 to $750?  That is what I would probably value that bottle of Maker's at with autographs.  I guess it does pay to live in the middle of the UK cesspool from time to time.

I played college football for five years man... In no way shape or form was I forced to play first of all... And second nor was I blocked from making a profit.  I was actually helped by the university who aided me with a job as an R.A. and had me on scholarship which included paying for not only my tuition and books, but also my unlimited meal plan and housing.

Listen I am all for a player being able to profit off their likeness.  Bring back EA Sports' NCAA Football and give the kids some profit sharing revenue or let them sign some autographs for whatever fans are willing to pay for them or sell their own personal merchandise for spending money... But heck no should we let freaking college coaches call up agents to have hundreds of thousands dropped to secure commitments or have them setting up bogus ACT/SAT exams for players to gain immediate eligibility. Point blank that is the stupidest thing ever. End of story. Bribery is a freaking federal crime for pete sake. But nah... It is college basketball, it cool, let it happen.  Get outta here.
