Was it Bob Knight that said referees were barely a step above prostitution? Always thought there was some degree of validity to that? Either way it wouldn’t surprise me to know Coach Knight would say that.

I’m taking Cincy’s side on this one. He’s absolutely correct to declare this is “a stupid mathematical formula”. Honestly, I didn’t even bother to read the article because it’s worth the time or effort to get riled up about. I understand ESPN has a certain narrative, and that in itself is an entirely different article waiting to be written by the 11 Warriors staff. This topic is not worth their collective effort to write about.

I’ve always felt fans chanting SEC over and over again makes about as much sense as me chanting “AFC West” because I am an Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders fan. I spent half of my Army career under that Manson-Nixon line, and I would not want to move back there anytime soon.

I read his letter, and was amazed at his level of patting himself on the back over his adherence of standards and practices. I wonder if anyone has approached the gentleman and suggested nobody really cares what he thinks about this issue (only in his eyes is it an issue).

He seems deeply passionate about this subject. I wonder if he felt passionate enough to put pen to paper and express his opinions on a certain former Penn State defensive coordinator who currently resides in prison?

All in all, I would have wore the damn shirt in symbolic gesture of telling him to “get off my lawn!”

Henry Rollins tells a really funny story about Dave. It’s not as epic as Bert Kreischer’s “The Machine” story but I enjoyed listening to it.

Nevertheless, Happy Birthday to the incomparable showman known as David Lee Roth!

I remember this song being played in the movie Mission to Mars. Suddenly my then seven year old son blurted out. “Dad! That’s Van Halen your favorite group!” Great times....great memories!

I was impressed at how the offense readjusted themselves after the first quarter. Someone should send the film of this game to Warinner and Beck, advising them that this is how you readapt your offense against a tenacious Mark D’Antonio led defense.

I never felt confident in Grinch’s coaching ability. The DB’s looked like a train wreck at times. Not to mention he was an awful recruiter.

Still couldn’t believe Grinch had the audacity to tell Coach Day he wanted to be the defensive coordinator. I think I would have laughed in his face, and hurt his feelings....

Once Coach Day casted off the defensive coaches “troika of incompetence” (Schiano, Davis and Grinch) the sky was the limit. It’s great the see the Silver Bullets wreak havoc on the opposing offenses.
