...Wait, wrong thread.
Interesting that Day said they would be able to make room, if they needed to for another commit. Would love to see/hear who you guys think it could be!
It's Burrow, not Burrows. Also, Joe credited Ohio State in his speech for making him a "great person and a great player". He also thanked Ohio State in his speech as well. This isn't hard to find, and is just being lazy. Or, are you just trying to defend a bad take?
Gee Scott Jr is in!
Yep, now just committed to Nebraska. So weird.
Francois was set to announce this morning, got a phone call while in the gym, got upset, and walked out of the gym.

I fully trust the coaching staff. So many Buckeye fans had questions coming into this season, and all of the concerns have been answered emphatically. If Ohio State loses Phillips, I trust that the staff will recover just fine. Would Phillips be an excellent get? Absolutely, and we would all love to have him in Columbus; however, if he flips to Utah, good luck to the young man as he watches Ohio State compete for National Championships every year.
Now that the regular season and conference playoffs are over, I think you have to look at the total picture. Ohio State was ranked #1 in the initial playoff rankings, due to their dominance in the first half of the season. Ohio State overtook LSU to be ranked #1 again after beating TTUN in dominant fashion on the road to close out the regular season. They just defeated #8 Wisconsin on a neutral site to win the B1G Championship game. The win yesterday closed out a run of wins over #8, #10, and #8 again. Of those games, one was at home, one was on the road, and one was neutral site. All three wins were by double-digits.
Three additional Ohio State opponents played in their conference championship games yesterday, with two of them winning the title (MIami of Ohio and FAU). The third team that lost in a very competitive, four quarter game (Cincinnati) is a 10-win team.
LSU closed their regular season and conference championship with wins over Arkansas (2-10), Texas A&M (7-5), and #4 Georgia (11-2). Two of those games were home games for LSU, and the conference championship was neutral. Looking back at LSU's non-conference schedule, they beat Georgia Southern (7-5), Texas (7-5), FCS Northwestern State (3-9), and Utah State (7-5). LSU has a lethal offense, but a much more suspect defense - I'm looking at those points surrendered to Texas, Vandy, Ole Miss, Bama, and Arkansas.
Ohio State has the more complete team, and has played the more competitive schedule leading into the playoffs. Numbers don't lie, which is why the #1 should remain next to Ohio State's name in the final CFP rankings.
LSU being tied with Florida or Auburn at the half, and letting bad teams like Texas and Ole Miss come storming back in the second half is not the destruction from beginning to end that you mention.
I want this on my tombstone.
Started looking at flights to Indianapolis, and changed into my throwback Archie jersey (out of my We Don't Give a Damn for the Whole State of Michigan shirt from the Dry Goods shop). I've gone to the B1G Championship game the previous two seasons, but now living in Florida and having commitments earlier in the day really made it impossible to go this year.
Guess that means I'll be traveling for the playoff games!
I bet MyBookie, and just submitted a cash out for $400 from winning today's CFB bets. I'm putting money on the Buckeyes tomorrow, because my mind is telling me it's going to be close, but my eyes and my heart say SEND IT.
*ichigan - "We have a plan this year!"
Ohio State - "We have a Predator."
45-21 Ohio State. Tight game until the third quarter, where Ohio State blows it open. I'm thinking 14-7 or 14-14 at halftime.
