Arrogance will be ohio st's downfall.

TCU has great players in the NFL, a great history, top defense every year, and no cover-up issues with the admin.

The top QB award is named after a TCU QB (Davey Obrien award). Yesterday there were at least a hundred buckeyes getting their pics with the Horned Frog statue on our campus. Our little tiny school in little Ol' Ft Worth with 65% female students are going to show you'all (yes, I said You'all) what happens when you play a Big12 program.  Remember last year at your house?

This is going to be a great game.  Go Frogs!

Cbus, I WISH I was a Templar knight, but no. I have nothing to be arrogant about, just confident.

Thatzuh, I use the wisky team because that is the only common thread our 2 programs have (unless you want to use the 1957 TCU victory over OSU).  Beyond that, there are only a few limited items that we possess over the buckeyes....better coach, newer stadium.  Beyond that we only have 2 national titles, a handfull of conference banners, a couple of famous NFL players (Bob Lily, Davey O'Brien, Andy Dalton, Slingin' Sammy Baugh, Mel Renfro) and a historic hatred of texas that you show with michigan.

But while we're at it, thanks for letting me post with you guys before the game.  It's a blast sharing your comments and opinions with other Horned Frogs. Your fan base is football-intelligent, and passionate about your team. Hopefully we'll see you guys Saturday!

TCU 27 OSU 17

Horned Frogs surprise the buckeyes with their speed, special teams and stout defense.  OSU has no answer because A) they were overconfident B) their coach was at home on the couch C) they deserve to lose because of their arrogance

Don't sell yourself short, you're a tremendous slouch. (Chevy Chase)

Earthoid, my facts are correct.  Even if I'm a little off on my numbers, TCU is a top program, and will not be rolled this weekend.  Although OSU has the talent, depth, coaching (from home), awesome reputation, XL stadium, huge fan base, etc etc, the Horned Frogs have been there-done that. Our entire living alumni/students could not fill your stadium (still pissed we did away with the home&home), but we went into the 2010 Rosebowl with a Mountain West team and beat Wisky the same year they beat you 31-18.

I'll bet Oregon State won't score 31 points again this year. And Saturday you're facing a 5 star QB with an OL that is as good as anyone in the Big10 (Coach Day). Looking forward to seeing you in Texas, this is going to be a great game!

I LOVE it when others disregard TCU as a mid-major.  Those fans are stuck in the '80s when the Frogs might win 1 game.

But in the last 15 years TCU has developed into a powerhouse, beating big dogs like Clemson, USC, Wisky, texas (repeatedly), Oklahoma, Ol'Miss, Arkansas etc etc.  But now things are different.  Only 'bama has more top 10 finishes than TCU in the last 10 years. So buckle up, this is going to be a great game!

I can't remember when I saw this many positive comments about opposing team's injuries.  OSU fans must be classier than we thought, and I am very pleased and impressed to see this.

Unfortunately, we are annually bombarded from trash fans at texas, baylor and texas tech, so it's refreshing to read this forum.

Thank you all.

(Blacklock was our #1 defensive player, and probably the best in the Big12. We will suffer this loss, but your line just dodged a huge bullet, literally)

2011 wisconsin's line was bigger, with more future NFL starters.  But Gary Patterson beat them with a Mountain West team.

In other words, TCU is bigger, better and faster now.  This is going to be a great game.

David, the buckeyes are playing TCU in Arlington, not Dallas.  It's right next to Ranger stadium, and it's the nicest stadium in the country. Also, it's not 30 minutes away from TCU campus, it's 15 minutes. At least do a little background checking.

That said, there will be a ton more buckeye fans there compared to Horned Frogs.  Most of us strongly dislike Jerry, and refuse to give him our $$.  Really wish we could've stuck with the home/home series, I would've loved to visit the horseshoe.

That is true, TCU received $5mil.  But, an unofficial poll of season ticket holders like myself are pissed that we lose the previous home/home agreement. We'd love to see the horseshoe, and watch buckeyes cram into our 48k stadium. I refuse to give Jerry Jones my $$.

Despite the Whore-ing ourselves out to E$PN, this is going to be a great game.  Go Frogs!

Gee Gordon was OSU's chancellor when TCU faced wisky in the 2010 RoseBowl.  He was upset that a little school in Ft Worth from the Mountain West was invited.  Now he's the chancellor at W Virginia, and we get to rub his face in it every year.  But, us Frogs are more upset about being left out of the 2014 CFB after dropping from 3rd place to 6th in the final week, and you buckeyes got in.

Despite all the stuff that has nothing to do with 9-15-18, this is going to be a great game.

Go Frogs!

I LOVE these message boards.  And 99% of all comments seem to be duplicates from the wisky badgers before the 2010 Rose Bowl. TCU won 21-19 against the biggest Oline and RB's that the big10 had ever seen, and that's when Gary Patterson had a Mountain West team.

Also, both schools took the E$PN money to play at Jerry world, TCU did not change the venue on our own.  I would've loved to visit the horseshoe, and have a few buckeyes crammed into our stadium in Ft Worth. I'm pissed that my season tickets don't allow me into that game, and I refuse to give Jerry Jones my $$.

FYI, a Horned Frog is a lizard that eats red ants, and shoots blood out of its eyes when cornered or threatened.  There used to be millions of them all over Texas until DDT was used in the 1960's that desimated the Horned Frog population.

It's going to be a great game, see you guys soon.  Go Frogs!

Trolling, but in a good way.

Learn your history less you repeat it.

2011 EVERYONE said wisky was going to plow thru TCU in the Rosebowl with their bruising backs and massive line.  What happened??? The Frogs won 21-19.  Big lines don't scare the Frogs (ie. arky, kstate, okiestate). Speed kills, and the Frogs are loaded.  The ONLY thing that scares us are mobile, accurate NFL-caliber QBs, and I'm sincerely hoping your new one has tons of Freshman moments.

Other point, I refuse to give Jerry Jones my $$, and I was incredibly angry that this home/home series was moved to Jerry World. I would have LOVED to visit the horseshoe, and have you buckeyes crammed into our sparkling new 50k seating stadium.
