Same! Hahaha. I’m normally a pacer, but I was a little overconfident at kickoff. Humbled me went right back to my usual nervous pacing quietly screaming (kids asleep) self!
Took off the black #1 jersey in favor of the ol’ reliable home #5 at half time. I also ate a lucky candy Buckeye and stood up/paced the entire second half. Ran out of beer (like a damn rookie) and had to pour myself a glass (or two) of red wine. Guess I know my drink of choice for the playoffs now.
Update: I was provided 2 Maryland tickets to raffle off!! If anyone is interested in purchasing raffle tickets, please comment below. 1 ticket for $10, 3 for $25! Seats are in 12C.
GO BUCKS! BEAT CANCER!
Thank you, Hovenaut!
Update: Got to watch the FAU game with her and will get to watch the IU game this weekend with her. She's very tired, but she still rooting as hard as she can for our beloved Buckeyes.
I’m so sorry to hear that about your mom, BlackBlockO. Cancer sucks, but it sounds like she was cut from the same cloth as mine: Buckeye strong and a fighter!
Thank you Gratefulbuck! I appreciate it. One day at a time.
Update: Twitter handle same as 11w username. Message me if you are interested in donating!

GO BUCKS! BEAT CANCER (and TTUN)!
Going with the family! Can’t wait to cross off the fourth B1G away game off my list. Going to check out Hellbender Brewing and do a little DC monument tour as well!
So who else is in?!?! I'm getting excited and I'm cautiously optimistic that this is the springboard game our offense needs.
Awesome unis and I love the troll job... but if we go out there trolling Nebraska in black (shirt) uniforms for a noon game and pull the crap we did last week, they can have a bonfire with these. Do what we did last time we wore them, and all is well.
Cowboys could use a big bodied WR
Yup... Leave it to the Cleveland Browns to finally have a reason for me to root for them, only to rid themselves of that reason halfway through the season. If it weren't for Denzel Ward, the Browns would be dead to me again.
You mean the schedule that includes MSU, Wisconsin and Penn State? Add in Cincy (say what you want) being an in-state game against a team who is currently 6-0 this season and being coached by Luke Fickell.
Next year's home slate looks a hell of a lot better from top to bottom than this year's. FAU, Miami of OH, Maryland, Cincy, MSU, Wisconsin & Penn State > Rutgers, Tulane, Oregon State, Minnesota, Nebraska & ttun.
Case in point... Cheapest pair of tickets on StubHub for the dumpster fire that is Nebraska: $135/ticket (without fees). Why? Because OSU set those tickets' face value at $102/ticket this year. WOOOOF.
Secondary counter point: TERRIBLE home schedule this season with Nebraska tanking. Thanks to Gene & company for settling for $$$ with TCU instead of the Home & home that was originally scheduled...
Next year we get Cincinnati, MSU, Wisconsin & Penn State at home. If priced appropriately, 2019 should be a much better year for our attendance numbers.
He and Denzel Ward (among a few others) tied for the league lead in interceptions!! GO BUCKS!
What ever happened to the comprehensive table in these posts that show all the NFL Buckeyes and their stats for the week? Am I missing something (if so please disregard).
HELL YEA SHAZIER! Love seeing you out there... I can only imagine how hard that would be to be back on that field.
To your point Hove, I have a feeling he could make one hell of a career out of becoming a motivational speaker! Look how much he has already overcome and that will only continue to improve.
No retractable roof in Seattle, but the upper deck sideline seats do have some cover (not exactly like, but similar to our B Deck seats) due to their stadium's structure.
My argument was more in regards to your "night games north of the mason-dixon line" implying weather is the issue. Time slots and competing match ups across the country are more the issue than the weather. In a year when Alabama and Auburn are down, The Game could easily slide into that slot and get an ever bigger TV rating.
Give me a 3:30/4pm kickoff. More time to travel and/or tailgate depending on where the game is played. That #1 vs #2 game was epic for MANY reasons, one of which was the time they played. That game ending under the lights was simply amazing and felt right.
I get that Seattle is a west coast team and 8pm there isn't 8pm here... but they have THREE night games after thanksgiving. Add them into this stat and you've got 4 out of the 11 night NFL games played after Thanksgiving in cold weather. 4 out of 11 isn't too shabby. And yea... they play plenty of playoff games in cold weather.
