The 4 picks were definitely horrible, but Iowa dominated us in the trenches and defensively we looked flat out confused. That loss was the definition of a team loss. Just a complete systematic failure from the staff to the players and then they quit on top of it which allowed the game to get out of hand. That choice put the final nail in their coffin for the playoffs.

The kid basically got screwed over by the university. I think he was in good standing with the team and would have been a contributor. I definitely think you take him. So much potential.

ESPN's QBR system grades each play based on down, distance and expected outcome. If you're behind the chains, which Penn State was most of the night, your odds of success are much lower than if you're ahead of the chains. If you complete a pass on 3rd and 9, you're going to get more "expected points awarded" from their system than if you complete one on a 2nd and 3 type of play.

So, would you be alright with a convicted rapist moving next door to you? I mean, I have a wife and two teenage daughters and I would not be cool with it... at all. There's certain mistakes in life that you can't or shouldn't be able to move past. Now, I'm not saying that this guy shouldn't be able to play football. That's somewhat excessive, but the whole sentiment that someone should be free because they served their time is ridiculous.

Not only that, but he's 6 years older than the next oldest guy on his team. He's about to turn 30 and only has a couple of years before father time starts eroding his skills.
