With the bad news that Gibbs is no longer visiting, the good news is that Coach Day is going up north to visit Spindler and Dellinger.

Toutant is not the only outstanding offensive lineman Day will check on Friday. He will be in Clarkston (Mich.) and stop at Clarkston High to check on 2021 offensive linemen Rocco Spindler and Garrett Dellinger.

this is pretty much the article, per Wiltfong:

247Sports has learned that Ohio State will no longer host Top247 running back Jahmyr Gibbs on an official visit this weekend.

It's a numbers thing for the Buckeyes who already have 24 signed and Cameron Martinez also committed making 25 for this 2020 class.

Gibbs is currently committed to Georgia Tech and also keeping an eye on Florida and LSU as well. The Gators are scheduled to get an official next weekend with the Yellow Jackets slated for the last one the weekend of Jan. 31.

Ryan Day and his staff are currently sitting on the No. 4 recruiting class in the country per the 247Sports Composite, tops in the Big Ten, a haul that includes prolific in-state running back Miyan Williams who flipped to the Buckeyes during the fall.

How is this dude still allowed to post on here? Every post of his is downvoted into oblivion, and rightfully so. This is a fine example of that

I believe he decommitted once Meyer retired, which is what Cavazos did as well. Obviously, Cavazos re-committed, but I think Wray just wanted to look elsewhere. Not 100% sure on that, though.

I'm not saying the Utah insiders are wrong, but I haven't seen any FutureCast predictions flipped to Utah, or any CBs to Utah on 24/7. Maybe they're still waiting? Not sure. This is an odd situation.

Details regarding Stroud's announcement:

“It will be Wednesday, a little after 11:30 (am) our time (PT),” Rancho Cucamonga head coach Mark Verti told Bucknuts. “The plan is for it to be here at the high school. I think it will be on ESPN. I think things should be finalized later today.”

Stroud will be an early graduate and will sign on Wednesday.
In addition to his official visit, Stroud also visited Ohio State in early October the weekend the Buckeyes defeated Michigan State 34-10.

Also, this is from Wiltfong's 24/7 article regarding Phillips' visit to Utah:

(this is Clark's father talking)

"We'll have a family discussion, prayer, he really likes the Utes. He's still committed to Ohio State. More discussion today but a flip is definitely possible."

"Nothing matches Ohio State's legacy in terms of defensive backs and we knew this was a possibility and they lose coaches like (Nick) Saban loses coaches every year at Alabama. They're going to be a wonderful program no matter who they hire, or does he potentially be a program-changer at Utah and go in and make an impact right away. They use that term, not loosely, being a program-changing type recruit.

The elder Phillips added Clark's ceremony is actually Thursday, the second day of the Early Signing Period.

"I think he will know what he's going to do tonight or tomorrow."
