The Chicago Architecture Society has the best river tour, highly recommend. If you're going to do a river tour, choose this one. Lou Malnatis, Gino's East, and Giordano's are the name brands for deep dish pizza. Happy Camper and Pequod's are better in my opinion, but they both don't take reservations though so the wait can sometimes be awhile. Depends on your time constraints.
It helps that the top guys in Ohio are already committed to the 2021 class.
Question regarding the Grove, do they get a tree if they earn a first-team honors from any of the publications/foundations?
Day is a competitive guy, i find it hard to believe he would relinquish his play calling duties. I think he really enjoys finding the weak spots in opponents D and adjusting accordingly. I guess we'll see though.
Agreed, i think i'd rather have something on films the coaches can be pissed about to get the team fired up for this weekend.
Is this what he's speculating the loan amount was for?? Haven't seen any amount indicated yet..
I don't know if this is the right place for this and don't post often, but just read Bill's article on The Athletic talking about Marvin Jr's commitment. He had an interesting note that Ohio State wasn't even allowed to recruit there until Day re-opened the pipeline. Evidently there was a "fallout from some disagreement over how Ohio State recruited a Prep player a few years ago, a sticking point that doesn’t involve coaches on either of the staffs now". It looks like McCord and Harrison would have never happened until Day took over.
Just continue to fly to the ball on D and good things will happen. It seems like every play we have multiple players around the ball carrier on stops, significantly different than last year.
If the O-line continues to gel and open up some holes, Dobbins should be able to take advantage. Especially liked what i saw from him on that 8 yard carry where he was at the LOS, let's just hope he continues to run hard and not try and make something happen on every carry.
He's looked a lot more consistent so far this year, think he'll continue to be a playmaker as the year goes on.
It's not fancy but I've always been a fan of a Transfusion: Vodka, Gingerale, splash of Grape juice, and a lime.
