Has there been any word on whether the staff will pursue Darnay Holmes or not? With Okudah gone and Wade likely gone next year, I think Holmes could make an instant impact next year. If I recall correctly, he's graduated from UCLA, so he would have immediate eligibility.
I'd be surprised if Davis came back. A respected draft analyst on Twitter last week called him the best interior OL he's seen so far during the college football season.
It seems like every time we play Wisconsin or PSU on the road, it's a night game, no questions asked. Every time we play them at The Shoe however, God knows what time they game will be.
Quite confident that Hafley can turn this guy into a top 50 pick. He can teach technique and fundamentals, but he can't teach 6'2.5" , 4.59 forty yard dash, and 4.07 shuttle.
Let’s go get Jakailin Johnson, a top ND target at corner, for some revenge on those bastards.
Birm would not tweet that unless it was something he was in absolutely no way expecting.
Jack Coan hasn’t played a big game on the road yet. Hopefully the Shoe will have him pissing his pants.
Well he’s clearly not a take at WR, and I like our chances with Grimes and JK Johnson, so I don’t think anyone at the WHAC is going to lose sleep over him being a Leprechaun .
Maybe those cocky bastards who haven’t won shit will shut their mouths for a while.
All those damn 5 stars, all that damn recruiting budget and prowess...... to lose to a 2-3 SCAR at home?
Any word on how the visits went this past weekend? There was a lot of talent in town.
Exactly. It’s so beautiful to watch our top 100 recruits that the staff worked so hard to get play like actual top 100 college football players.
Georgia fans are only saying that because they know Evans is trending away at the moment.
But.... essays and exams.
Jahmyr Gibbs is 5-11 and 194 pounds. Dobbins was 5-9 and 199 pounds his senior year of high school. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of taking only Gibbs and then handing him over to Coach Mick.
Did any other targets/commits have a change in their rankings, or was it just the QBs?
Duke offered a 5* guy yesterday and he committed today. I wish it were that easy for the Bucks. Even our football team probably can’t pull something like that off.
The whole “Fleming’s girlfriend goes to Penn State, there’s no way he doesn’t follow her to PSU” theory didn’t work out the first time. Highly doubt it works out for them this time around.
I doubt he would de-commit from the home team after he was told no by Ohio State just a couple of months ago.
I was just adding onto your comment. You're saying the O/U this weekend is 1.5. Since you're saying guys go home and make videos and edits, I'm saying the O/U from now until next Thursday is 3.5.
From now til this time next week, there could be up to 3-4. Cowan is obviously one, BG said Stroud might pull the trigger after he gets his offer, Bradford might want to reserve his spot this weekend, Watts is a done deal and might announce soon, wouldn't be too surprised to see someone of the 2021 class like Najee Story pull the trigger. Should be a fun weekend.
BG and Clint Brewster went foggy on Tyler Baron today.
You must not have a daughter. I'm sure there are several ladies that will be going through their closets in tears on Saturday morning realizing they have no black Buckeye apparel.... because they are just now hearing about how it's a Black out.
If they wanted The Shoe to be completely blacked out, they should've announced this weeks, or even months, in advance. Announcing weeks in advance gives people (specifically the much older audience) plenty of time to hear about the black out, and to buy something black.
Now if we're talking a different type of black out, we're going to need a hell of a lot of alcohol.
Pretty much the same offense and same QB that ate us up in the Shoe last year. The improvements on defense have been nothing short of exceptional. Hafley was the hire of the offseason.
The funniest part about all of this is the fact that Wiltfong put in a crystal ball for Miyan to tOSU like 6 months ago and his explanation was, "I don't know, I just feel like he'll be a Buckeye one day."
I remember people on this forum laughing at that crystal ball and explanation from him. Little did we know of the RB recruiting roller coaster that was ahead of us.
