Pix #11 JK Hill has been smiling all year. Go Buckeyes!
There are two things Clemson is being told in preparation for Saturday. 1. Get to Fields at all cost...take him down. 2. Protect Lawrence...and give him time in the pocket. That is there keys to the game.
"You already knew this, but time is a flat circle. Merry Christmas, let's get Situational! "
No, let's get sensational. 1. Protect fields at all costs. 2. Take down Lawrence...early and often.
NOW Merry Christmas, GO BUCKEYES!
If we have backups in at the end of the 3rd Qtr, we're in the CFP National Championship, but...you already knew this ;-)
Guess who just got reinstated?
(Ohio State’s Football Team, and guess who beat us so bad they wouldn’t let us back in the playoffs for TWO years!)
Well, not officially.
(No you won’t hear THE espn, cbs, or any of the rest of the sec/acc homers say so but they don’t believe we belong AGAIN!)
(Absolutely! We’ve lost every time we’ve played them.)
Yeah, me too.
(Double yes, we’re 3 losses no wins against them.)
Don't worry about it, we'll figure it out.
(Coaches if you can’t show your team who was truly disrespected by the media and the rest of college football, then get a psych dept. to help.)
I'll see ya in there.
(Remember… “And then we get ready to play Ohio State and I start watching the tape, I watch every single game, and I go in and tell our guys. I’m like, 'Boys, these guys are in trouble.' …These guys are in trouble. And that's exactly what happened. Again, that’s a credit to our league.” Dabo Swinney January 1, 2017)
Thoroughly enjoyed watching the 2nd half comeback from Section 240. All of the fans were loud and I believe effective in the 2nd half. Go Buckeyes beat Clemson.
Absolutely NO reason to run Fields...a little more POP from their D and many of us would be calling for Day's head...especially the alumni.
The Heisman has lost a lot of importance after last year. Just get the next NatCha and let espin/e'sec'pn/e'acc'spn worry about an award which as of this past year has become meaningless.
I never thought Tate would make it at tOSU anyway. Just too short, even for a run first pass second kind of guy.
Tate would be great at a school like Georgia Tech or maybe one of the military schools.
KJ will help who ever becomes the starting QB.
Is that a death's-head moth in her mouth?
"Agent Starling, meet Mr. Acherontia styx."
This has been my thoughts all year. How hard would the "sports world aficionados" hit us for not slobbering all over their desire to can Urban. It has been their narrative all season and anything good about tOSU has been ignored.
Since Nick Bosa made that much of an impact on the entire team (most notably on the linebacker coaches), get another Nick Bosa or get rid of the linebackers coach before next season.
I have no problem with 1 through 4. We stepped in the doodoo and that's that. However, the 2 loss #5 team is just an excuse for the bias we all have come to know so well.
So you're saying a terrible team has just as much chance to win on Saturday as a very good team? Do I understand you here.. The Buckeyes in spite of a very questionable defense can win? OK, I'm with you. I hadn't looked at it from that perspective. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving. Lets all pray the Buckeyes have turkey on Saturday.
I'll defer to Urban on selection for right tackle. Besides I think its too late to change out a 'bull gear' for ttun week. Maybe a prayer or two for Isaiah instead of sarcasm. We do want Prince to 'Wax Eloquent' as they say in communication. I would like to have seen more of Bowen but injury took its toll.
It was only a matter of time before the slime tactics from MSNBC and CNN began to appear in the sports world. What surprises me is the public allowed it to continue in so called "political reporting" and didn't expect it's sleazy success to invade the world of amateur athletics.
I know...he didn't make any plays against Purdue. (sarcasm)
Don't put it all on the offense...
"Oklahoma Fires Defensive Coordinator Mike Stoops After Surrendering 48 Points to Texas"
On the ship we used to say, "make a hole" so that someone could get past a crowded passageway. I think RBs could get through the crowded defensive passageways if the line would just "make a hole." Dobbins last year and more so Weber this year (both or either) can break initial contact by LBs and DBs but they need a hole to open up.
We need to try Tate this week to allow folks forget about it if it works. Try the keeper and the various pitch plays. Hopefully they're already working this a little every day at practice.
There is a certain head coach who has experience hiring great coordinators. I think his initials are Urban Meyers.
"But as everyone keeps pointing out, being a successful head coach is a far different thing than being a successful offensive coordinator. "
[MOD Edit: Please keep politics out of it.]
True they couldn't suspend him from voting :) .
Here's one thing about these polls (AP/Coach) that "don't mean anything to the selection committee". The selection committee always refers to teams having "played ranked teams" early in the season to justify where they rank teams for their own poll. That is when they justify two close teams.
I'll be at this game. I see it didn't take long for the vitriol to begin dripping from the maul of Heather Dinich ESPiN.
First, I'm so glad the documents have been made public.
Second, If anyone (who isn't a Paul Finebum fan) can say this was anything but making Coach Meyer a scapegoat...well they must be a CBS/ESPN/ sports analyst. Yes anything CBS/ESPN has become a derogatory word in my vocabulary.
Third, it took a real man to stand in and take a fall for all of tOSU.
Fourth, this bush whacking of an innocent man along with their continuing push of progressive-liberal bias makes me question having my children attend tOSU. Grandchildren you ask, not on your life.
