I definitely echo using the spot hero app...You may park a few blocks from your hotel but you may save a couple extra bucks for pizza.

The only problem with an Air Bnb might be finding a spot for the weekend.  Depending on what neighborhood you are in you will have to have a temporary parking pass, and if you are close to Wrigley you might have to have another one. If you do Air Bnb, look near Armitage and Sheffield.  Close to trains, and a nice little neighborhood.

The Hilton Garden Inn at the Magnificent Mile is right next to the Red Line which is going to get you wherever you need to go.

If you go on the weekend of a Cubs game then the El will drop you off right at Wrigley.

Another weekend to look might be the Chicago Air Show.  That is a fun weekend, and a sea of humanity on the lake.

Food wise I would say go to Chicago Bagel Authority.  A Miami OH transplant opened up a few bagel shops up in Chicago, and they are very good. Owner is an Ohio State fan so there are some cool OSU pics on the walls.

Gino's East is my favorite pizza out of the big three.  Pequod's is also a fan favorite.

If you have an ez pass driving is a little easier...if not you might be stuck at the Skyway toll for a little bit.  They are a few tolls to get in and they add up.

Have fun!

I have never met a rational Illini basketball fan, and in my 3 experiences at State Farm the lower the IQ the closer you are to the floor.

I believe they were ranked worst in the Big Ten in an anonymous Media Day poll last year? (Can't find link)

I also never really liked the bUCkeye state era UC fans who thought they had a shot to beat us with absolutely no defense.

Reminds me of my friend Mitch, who worked in real estate.  He came home from a conference and found out his wife was having an affair.  He ended up renting a house near a college, and we took it upon ourselves to throw a rager for him.  We called it Mitchapalooza. We knew the dean of the school from when we were in college and he was kinda corrupt, and tried to throw us off campus.  We ended up finding a loophole to start our own fraternity on campus.  We had a couple students and then we also had a few older guys join the fraternity as well.  I digress, but Lyles party made me think of those good times I had at Mitchapalooza.  I was more of a tank back then.

Rosecrans put up a spray chart for Catellanos the other day over GABP and on paper he's going to have a better power year with 81 games at home compared to Comerica.  That's a big get.

Reds are putting together a softball team like the White Sox did in the mid 2000's

As for Marge Schott...Noone liked her that's for sure.  I would, however consider replacing Gapper with Schottzie full time. Maybe bringing back Schottzie is the missing piece the reds have always needed.

On this point...I wish there were other options that we could use but I feel like others would be too plain, and we can really borrow from Obrien/Early Matta era because they are kinda gaudy.

I think the mid 80's homes that just say BUCKEYES on them...I thought we also had one that was script buckeyes, but had a buckeye and leaf on them?

I'll hang up and listen.

This will be the year to know if the Illini are for real or if they are just running a gimmicky defensive scheme and trying to get lucky.

I think Nebraska is going to be undervalued to start the year too.  Hoiberg was able to rehab his roster with a lot of new faces like he did at Iowa State, and he got some good results quickly there.

I think 3-4 is a good slot for us.

I saw Hamilton up in Cleveland this past summer.

Overall it was great.  If I had to break down the two acts I would say that the first act was and A+ and the second was a B.

The second act was (for lack of a better phrase...) too sing-song for me.  Almost like a movie where the young teacher is trying to relate to their class.

The fact that they don't stop for any dialogue and everything was one continuous song was very impressive.

Definitely worth it!

Saw he has Dayton pinned still, but the unsigned part had me wondering more than anything.

Holtmann talks about adding the right person to this class.  If Dwayne has a change of heart, he'd be a good fit.

The loudest games that I have ever seen at the Schott were the '07 Michigan State White Out game, and the Conley game winner for the B1G Title.

During the Matta era, the bball team got kicked out of the Schott around Thanksgiving time for Sesame Street on Ice which was contracted for a long period of time so they'd either play on the road, at Nationwide (if Ohio State was hosting the tourney), and about 5 times at St Johns.

I went to the game where we played UT Chattanooga, and it was about as loud as any other place I have ever been to.  It was such a cool environment.

1. The Precint in Cincinnati - Any Jeff Ruby place I go is amazing. Precint is the best of all of his. The best steak that I have ever had.

(Large gap)

2. Strip in Avon - Awesome enviroment, and overall best menu I have seen in Cleveland. They make a dessert called a Tirrasata cake (combo Tiramisu and Cassata) that I'll just pick up from there.

3. Marks US Prime in Gainesville, FL - The best NY Strip I have had outside of OH

4. Peter Lugers in Brooklyn, NY - Steak was really good, but that place is more of an unique experience than anything. Get that thick cut bacon. Steak sauce was a different take. I liked it. Same with Diamond Grille in Akron. Both have the old timely feel.

Honorable Mention Craftsteak in Vegas, Wildfire in Chicago, Malones in Lexington, and Red in Cleveland.

Also, please recommend a great char steak that I can try!!

Delete your account dude. People come on here with constructive thinks to say. They're not here for your diatribes and useless comments.

Youre posts throughout the game were a joke. Give it a rest.
