Shoot an apple off the ref’s head. The closest arrow wins. The booth ref can review and call it. Based on the call we can all guess the outcome of all the reviews henceforth.

2019. I can walk head high knowing our young men fought thru adversities and fell just a little short.

Targeting by the rule? Yes. Ejection? No.
During a review any missed flags around the play should be fair game for review. Who knows if not for  the hands to the face CY gets to Lawrence before Wade.

If i am going to be congratulating anyone that would be the booth ref. Thanks for deciding the outcome in your favor and robbing the opportunity off our hard fighting buckeyes in overcoming all their miscues. I can reluctantly take the targeting penalty but the ejection changed the course of the game.

The review was implemented to correct the human errors on the field not to add controversies. “Indisputable evidence” is there to avoid any controversy and go with the call on the field. Some booth refs are thinking they are above the field refs and impacting the game.

Just need to add 2 more to your list to complete it:
If Shawn Wade doesn’t get ejected we win
If Fuller TD doesn’t get overturned we win

Lawrence was down holding his chest/shoulder and not his head. Booth ref either doesn’t have common sense or blatantly used that opportunity to give clemson an advantage. This is the same ref who was responsible for allowing time for Auburn to kick FG against Alabama just before half time.

A catch is good if receiver completes 3 jumping jacks after possession without the ball becoming loose at any point.

1. Officiating crew should be picked by NCAA
2. Each ref can come from a diff conference. No need for the entire crew to have worked together.
3. replay booth to have 2 refs, each not knowing who the other one is. Both have to come up with the same decision on a replay review otherwise the ruling on the field stands.
4. Evaluate all calls the next day. The ones with the highest scores get to booth ref the playoffs.
