He wasn't good enough for Cincinnati...
Penn State/Washington is the only game I'm not confident about.
7-1 would be great.
Bunch of damn spoiled babies on this site.
Fair enough. I do agree with your post.
JT Barrett is a great human, I'm sure. But in all of those games we had poor QB play. Poor Quarterback Play was the common denominator.
I wasn't saying that JT's existence in the game, was the common denominator. His PLAY was.
My prediction is that the National Championship will be between Oklahoma and Alabama.
That joke is so 2014...
I would love to avenge our losses to Clemson and Oklahoma. We couldn't do it against Clemson last year.... and the Oklahoma game wasn't even as close as the score implied.
The fact of the matter is, JT has regressed every single year as a QB. That is why our innovative and brilliant Offensive Coordinator runs him like 75% of the time.
Ok Mr. Il Padrino... You look back to all the games we lost in the past 3 years...and all the games we should have lost... and all the games that we won despite some horrific play, and tell me the common denominator.
How man wide-open receivers must he overthrow, before you take off the scarlet glasses?
I think we are a great team. We just have a crap QB.
...and please let me know if you need help understanding what "denominator" means.
JT Barrett would have won the game for whoever we played.
So relieved that we will be able to enjoy a bowl game this year.
His defense only surrendered *14 points.
Kevin Wilson's defense gave up 7.
I WISH someone could just grab my head and make me 6'4", 275 pounds.
I didn't think Ohio State deserved to be in the CFP last year.
Penn State did.
OSU would have a much better chance of getting in this year, under my system than we currently do. That 4th spot would be between OSU/Wisconsin and USC/Stanford in all likelihood.
Just put the 4 Best Teams that Won Their Conference in there, regardless of wins/losses; rank them based on their strength of schedule.
"Best" would be determined by strength of schedule.
Conference Championship should be a requirement and all FBS conferences should be considered (but in reality, it would really just be the "Big 5" conferences).
Ok then. Looking back to last season; in hindsight, would you have rather played an exciting game over USC in the Rose Bowl? Or were you happy with our blowout loss to Clemson? At least we made it, right?
Hopefully the committee somehow finds a way to get Rutgers and Maryland into the playoff with us...I'd like our chances then.
Ohio State has the money, but our coordinators are not known to be all that well paid in comparison to the Alabamas, Clemsons, etc.
Even Bud Foster makes almost $1 Million as DC at Viginia Tech.
Our highest paid coordinators make $600-700k
Keep dreaming buddy...
Have you watched this team at all this year?
We by far have the worst loss of the two-loss teams "in contention"--31 points, by Iowa. And our "respectable" loss was by 15 points.
What was our signature win? A miraculous comeback against PSU?
It's a down-year. Accept it.
Ohio State is not getting into the Playoffs.
And why would you want to see that anyway? Who honestly thinks we are a National Championship team this year?
Would you rather be embarrassed again in the playoffs, or win against a respectable opponent in a NY6 bowl?
Bret Bielema to become Co-DC at Ohio State...
Do you think Wisconsin would lose to Penn State and Michigan State? That’s the only difference in our conference schedules really.
And they crushed the Iowa team that crushed us.
I don’t know that I would call Ohio State’s 10 wins (8 in conference) better than Wisconsin’s 12 (9 in conference).
Seems to me that the 2 best teams in the B1G are playing for the championship.
Not sure why all the downvotes. I wouldn't call Urban incompetent, but otherwise everything you said is spot-on.
I wish people would counter with words instead of downvotes; I'd like to see who could argue with anything you've said.
I give Corso credit considering he had a stroke 8 years ago but still comes to work. Sure it's a bad ass job to have, and yes his speech has suffered, but the guy is 82 years-old and still working.
And he still makes the show fun to watch--he went crowd-surfing this past weekend.
But I do think there are too many personalities on the show now. And Bear is kind of creepy to me.
It's "u". Not "you".
Wow CincyOSU, you sure love to use the "transitive property" term... did you learn a new phrase?
Oh, and it's "their", not "there" smart guy.
