Ohio State's puckmen celebrate their first “stellar” performance of the season. Big Ten hockey named Sean Romeo its Second Star of the Week. The Buckeye netminder joins Michigan State forward Patrick Khodorenko (First Star - four points, including three power play goals vs. Ferris State) and Notre Dame goaltender Cale Morris (Third Star - two goals against and a .968 save percentage vs. OSU).

Romeo’s honors come on the heels of his best result of the season to date. The senior goalie completely shut down the Irish in the 2018-19 Big Ten opener. He stopped all 23 shots he faced and picked up his third career shutout in a 1-0 Buckeye win. This is the sixth career weekly award for Romeo.

Ohio State (4-3-1, 1-1-0-0 B1G) and Romeo hit the road this week for a series at Colgate (2-4-1, 0-1-1 ECAC). Games are currently scheduled for 7pm ET on Friday and 4pm ET on Saturday.
