When Urban Meyer came to Ohio State, he chose the phrase "The Chase" to reflect his team's mentality for the season. When The Chase resulted in the 2014 championship, Meyer installed "The Grind" for the 2015 season.
Though The Grind fell short of the repeat, 2016 is a new year with a lot of new faces. Sunday, Ohio State debuted its new buzzphrase.

Meyer confirmed the motto at his first p.m. presser of fall camp.
The Edge, according to Meyer, is where average stop and elite begins. It's about getting "human spirit" intensity throughout his team, so it takes pride in Ohio State. Meyer meticulously chose it, as he did all former mantras.
