Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye. Across the Shield follows those who once wore Scarlet and Gray on their journeys through the NFL.
Zeke Continues Rolling
With great games the last few weeks, and a nationally-televised game against the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving, it was just another case of "What would Zeke do next?" Well, he played pretty dang well, rushing 26 times for 121 yards (4.7 ypc) and this touchdown.
As you can see, Zeke threw some money into the same Salvation Army kettle in which he jumped last season. Now, Zeke will be doing an awesome gesture and matching some donations made to the charity.
Elliott also recorded five catches for 22 yards as the Cowboys defeated the Redskins.
Elsewhere in this game, Noah Brown recorded his first catch of the season, a 22-yard reception. Rod Smith had two carries for seven yards.
Curtis Samuel Scores Again
Curtis Samuel doesn't get many touches, but when he does, he makes the most of them.
Yesterday, Samuel recorded two catches for 17 yards and this touchdown.
Samuel now has just 19 catches on the year, but four of them have went for touchdowns. Panthers fans seem to want him to play more, and I am inclined to agree.
Malcolm Jenkins Notches Crucial Interception
With the Philadelphia Eagles struggling this season, every game is paramount. Thus, the interception that Malcolm Jenkins recorded ultimately a game-saving pick as the Eagles defeated the New York Giants.
Jenkins recorded six tackles and also forced a fumble as the Eagles kept their playoff hopes alive.
Joey Bosa Records First Sack of The Season
After missing the first nine games due to injury, Joey Bosa finally got on the field last week and finally got his first sack of the season this week.
Bosa absolutely obliterated Andre Smith and got to rookie Josh Rosen for the takedown.
Later, he added another.
Bosa finished with five tackles and those two sacks as the Chargers obliterated Arizona.
Adolphus Washington Placed on IR
One former Buckeye's season is over unfortunately as the Bengals placed defensive lineman Adolphus Washington on injured reserve earlier this week.
The hometown kid recorded six tackles and a sack in four games for Cincinnati this season.
Saints Show Up Again
The Saints won again. Marshon Lattimore made another incredible play.
Ho, hum. Another day at the office for New Orleans.
Lattimore finished with five tackles and that forced fumble, as well as two passes defensed. Vonn Bell had seven tackles. Eli Apple had ten tackles and a pass defensed, while Kurt Coleman had two tackles.
Raekwon McMillan Forces Fumble
It has been an impressive season by the two Buckeyes linebackers playing for the Dolphins: Jerome Baker and Raekwon McMillan. This week, it was McMillan making the play.
The Dolphins did not post video of the fumble, but you can watch it here. McMillan finished with seven tackles in this game, while Baker added three.
