Offensive lineman Jack Mewhort is the most recent Buckeye to sign a free-agent contract, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, who reported today that Mewhort would re-sign with the Indianapolis Colts on a one-year deal.
Despite an injury-plagued 2017 season, when Mewhort played just five games, he has been one of the more rock-solid contributors for the Colts offensive line in recent years, including when he started all 16 games in 2015.
In a video posted to the Colts' official Twitter account on Wednesday, Mewhort said Indianapolis was where he wanted to be, describing it as "home."
