Friday Night Fights: Week 12

Welcome to the 12th installment of Friday Night Fights.

This series tests your clairvoyance around the upcoming Ohio State game and weekend festivities. It also gauges how good or bad your #takes are, should you choose to defend them in the comments.

First, here are the results from last week's Fights:

You wouldn't be on 11W on a Friday night taking surveys if you weren't ONE OF US. [sad high five]

We're a bit obsessed with the Buckeyes, but we'd go with "prevent people from dying" here.

Michigan State straight-up got its ass kicked with Ohio State's starting linebackers tied behind its back. You saw this coming when Iowa was scoring at will, right? Yup we all did.

The 2015 Michigan State loss was ten weeks in the making. That 2001 loss in State College happened in 2001, which was almost as lousy as 2011 when that Lincoln collapse went down. Iowa suddenly becoming the Joe Montana San Francisco 49ers was jarring, but the wire-to-wire number one team in the country getting systemically destroyed in the BCS title game was a sentinel event. And there was no MSU ass-kicking the following week to cleanse that loss either.

Dobbins had 18 carries for 124 yards, which you'd take every week (and he'd give every week, if they would give him the ball 18 times) but Weber had nine touches for 162. They can lean on these guys and do this against anyone while keeping them honest with Barrett slinging the ball. They just don't. Fun!

Some prime #takes from last week:

Onto this week's Takes:

Ohio State finally remembered its running backs! What happens next? Questionable targeting calls have erased two Ohio State INTs this season. Iowa beat Illinois by 29. Iowa beat Ohio State by 31. Who is Ohio State's best linebacker? Saturday is J.T. Barrett's final game in Ohio Stadium.
