It would appear the Dontre Wilson Punt Return Experience is dead. At least for now.
Urban Meyer said Monday during his weekly press conference that junior H-Back Curtis Samuel would "probably get the first crack" at punt returns when his team takes on Maryland this Saturday.
Though Wilson muffed a punt against Nebraska and has been erratic during numerous returns this year, Meyer also added that Wilson, freshman running back Demario McCall, and redshirt freshman receiver K.J. Hill would also be "in the mix."
Maryland hosts No. 6 Ohio State Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET in College Park.
