There was little doubt, but Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer officially named redshirt freshman Mike Weber as the Buckeyes' starting tailback Wednesday.

It's a tradition at Ohio State for position coaches to call and inform families once a starter has been selected, and the Buckeyes' official Twitter account captured the phone call between Weber's parents and running backs coach Tony Alford in the video posted above.

It's a pretty cool moment as you'll hear Weber's mother and father scream with excitement once Alford informs them of the move.

Ohio State hosts Bowling Green at noon Saturday.
