You could say Nick Mangold is a hockey fan.
According to a report from the New York Post, Mangold was at the New York–Pittsburgh Stanley Cup playoff game Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden, giving Penguins star Sidney Crosby the business.
According to the Post, Garden security had to ask Mangold to ease up a bit.
Mangold, wearing a blue Rangers sweater during the Penguins’ 3-1 Game 3 victory, exhibited similar behavior during a Rangers game against the Stars on Jan. 5. On Tuesday he was seen giving it to the Penguins before they took the ice in the third period, and was so out of control, security came over a few times to tell him to calm down, a source said.
Mangold attended the game with fellow Jets Eric Decker and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Alas, Mangold's vocal support wasn't enough as the Penguins dropped the Rangers, 3–1, to take a 2–1 lead in the first-round series.
