Ohio State's Black Jerseys are For Sale; Here's How to Get Your Hands on Them

While Ohio State and Nike remain mum on the topic, the retail version of the black jerseys the Buckeyes will wear against Penn State in two weeks – as well as other black merchandise – has started to surface online.

Listed as part of Nike's “Black Pack” on fanatics.com, the sporting goods retailer has the black jersey, a men's and women's black t-shirt featuring an “8” to represent the number of national championships Ohio State has won, as well as a brand new all-black Ohio State hat.

The jersey matches the leaked version we first showed you Thursday night and with some minor tweaks, like sleeve structure, the addition of a performance colalr and the B1G logo, will closely resemble what the Buckeyes will wear against the Nittany Lions.

The two shirts are listed as “All Black” while the hat is listed as a “Nike Blackout Shoe Hook Snapback.”

The gear is expected to be available at local retailers, but according to an anonymous Nike rep we spoke with, it won't last long.

Meanwhile, at the university's official team store, new black Nike Air Max TR180s and two shirts for the Penn State game have surfaced, both featuring a “Dark Night at the Shoe” tagline, which, eh.

A long sleeve and short sleeve variation of the t-shirt is available for purchase right now.

If you prefer your shirts to pack a little more punch, we have our own tee, “Black Saturday,” available.

We'll have more as this develops.
