Going into the game, it figured to be a showcase for some of the younger talent Ohio State has been known to stockpile. It didn't go that way, but three freshmen were blooded against the Rainbow Warriors.

Isaiah Prince was the first Ohio State football newcomer to lose his black stripe, so it's only right he became the first freshman to play in the Buckeyes' 2015 campaign. (It came during Ohio State's second PAT attempt.)

Defensive backs Denzel Ward and Eric Glover-Williams also made their debuts on kickoff return, a prerequisite for playing time at Ohio State.
