At Sunday’s Under Armour Next Camp in Obetz, Ohio, 2025 Ohio running back Bo Jackson lived up to his billing as a coveted Ohio State target.

The four-star prospect was named an MVP of the running back group along with 2024 Ohio State commit Sam Williams-Dixon after he flashed his agility and pass-catching ability in one-on-one drills.

“Today I felt like I gave it my best,” Jackson said Sunday. “I went at my drills hard, and I liked my route running against the linebackers in the catching drill. I take a lot of pride in being a receiving back as well. I feel like that’s really a strength to my game.”

Jackson’s name is shared with a former NFL running back that needs no introduction, and the Cleveland product said his mother gave him the nickname of the former Auburn Standout because he was her favorite running back to watch.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Ohio prospect picked up his Ohio State offer last summer at a recruiting camp and has communicated with the Buckeyes. Jackson last visited Columbus last March and attended a spring practice.

“It was good. I loved the energy of the players," Jackson said. "I talk with coach Tony Alford every once in a while, every couple of weeks.”

Jackson said he plans on camping at Ohio State in June again this summer and is looking forward to getting more coaching from Alford.

“I love how they use their backs,” Jackson said regarding what he feels is the most appealing thing about playing for Ohio State.

Meanwhile, Ohio State continued its week on the recruiting trail, offering three new players in the 2025 class within the last 24 hours. We’ll delve into each below.

Na’eem Offord

Offord is the most highly-touted prospect of the trio, as the Alabama prospect is considered a five-star recruit and is rated the 23rd-best player and the second-rated cornerback in the 2025 class per 247Sports’ composite rankings. He was offered by Ohio State cornerbacks coach Tim Walton on Wednesday.

Offord has 27 Division I offers at the moment, a list that includes Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Miami, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, TCU, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.

Last season, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Offord made 13 tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack. Offord was a two-way player for Parker High School (Birmingham, Alabama) and lined up at cornerback, quarterback and wide receiver. Offensively, he ran for 360 yards and three touchdowns while catching 18 passes for 366 yards.

Kainoa Winston

The Buckeyes offered another highly-touted defensive back in the 2025 Thursday, offering four-star Washington D.C. safety Kainoa Winston.

The 6-foot, 185-pound prospect is considered the 101st-ranked player and the ninth-rated safety in the 2025 class. He’s earned 13 Division I offers thus far, including Boston College, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina, USC and Wisconsin.

In eight games last season, Wiston recorded 49 tackles, four tackles for loss and one fumble recovery.

Edward Coleman

Ohio State offered another 2025 wide receiver on Thursday, as offensive coordinator Brian Hartline extended an offer to Georgia prospect Edward Coleman.

Coleman does not hold a composite ranking as of yet but now holds eight Division I offers: Ohio State, Arkansas, Coastal Carolina, Florida State, Louisville, Pittsburgh, South Carolina and USF.

Last year, Coleman caught 30 passes for 546 yards with eight touchdowns. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound product also ran for 208 yards on 29 carries with four touchdowns and threw a 60-yard touchdown pass.
