2018 Michigan Commitment Leonard Taylor Shows Up to Ohio State Spring Game in Buckeye Gear

When he committed to Michigan two weeks ago, the questions about whether or not Springfield's Leonard Taylor's recruitment would be over started immediately. While a shirt certainly doesn't make the man, the 6-foot-6, 260-pounder may have, at the very least, left things open to interpretation today in Columbus.

Ohio State offered Taylor, whose uncle was a captain for the Buckeyes under Woody Hayes, in March, but he made a surprise pledge to the Wolverines during their April 1st spring game.

Antwuan Johnson, Taylor's teammate at Springfield, is also committed to Jim Harbaugh and Michigan, but he was not in attendance today at Ohio Stadium. Taylor was part of a group of players that included the country's top-ranked player in the 2017 class, Najee Harris, and 2017 four-star quarterback Kellen Mond, who were pulled aside by Urban Meyer for some face time pregame.

The country's 22nd-ranked 2018 prospect may be committed to Michigan, but today's visit to Ohio State–and next week's scheduled visit to Michigan State–seems to indicate that the door is still open for the Buckeyes.
