Ohio State sprinter Nick Gray broke the school records in the 100-meter dash, breaking Jesse Owens’ 80-year record, and the 200-meter dash at the Gamecock Invitational on Saturday.
Gray’s 100-meter dash time of 10.17 seconds earned him a silver medal. His 200-meter dash time of 20.20 seconds, which broke a 26-year record, earned him a first-place finish in the event.
Gray, who will go down as one of the most decorated track and field athletes in school history, is an eight-time Big Ten champion and is looking to add to that total this spring.
