There is a ton of blame to go around for last night and personally, I think this will work in our favor in the long run but, we need to ask ourselves if it possible that Tegra Tshabola is concussed or mad at his teammates. Seriously, WTF is going on with him? He did not struggle last night. He was a complete and total liability. It would have been to our advantage to have him play for Indiana. He was 100% lost. It's like he took an edible that kicked in during the game. WHAT IS HAPPENENING with him? It looks like he is trying to be bad. How is he in the rotation at this point?
I could harp on the fact that we blew two chances to score from the five, I WAS NEVER SETTLED ON HARTLINE as an OC ANYWAY... Please don't go nuts on me... He did great things for the program and I love and appreciate all of it. I just never felt that we should have been his first time calling plays and we should have a more experienced coordinator. I could complain about our obsession with the 13 personnel, the officiating, Jayden Fields, or Day's clock management, too.
To be realistic and keep things in perspective, I don't think last night meant too much to this team. I think they spent the week dealing with a lot of things like the Hartline news, signing day drama, and maybe enjoying the righting of the Michigan wrong. Last night didn't mean much in the grand scheme and I think we chose to just show up and play. Also, we only gave up 13 points and were AGAIN, a short field goal away form OT. It was Indiana's Super Bowl. However, we need to understand and fix this issue or we are in serious trouble.
Help us help you Tegra... Please, what can we do?
