From the days of Al Davis, Air Coryell and Joe Gibbs, the best compliment to a vertical passing game was a power run game.  It really seems like the power run would compliment OSU's short passing game also--i.e. the screens, the drags, etc.  

Kevin Wilson was more of the outside zone guy; but, with Wilson gone, maybe they go back to more of a inside zone and split zone.

Of course, Chip being the 1b would depend on him improving a lot.
