Nice thing about posting a mens basketball thread these days, no chance of bein a dupe.

So, according to Kam Williams, the mens basketball teams tends to "play down to its competition." A way of explaining a 6 point win over Farleigh Dickinson.

Good news for the basketball team. The current number 9 team in the latest ESPN power rankings, UCLA, sittin at 9-0, with a win over Kentucky in Rupp Arena, awaits the Buckeyes, in Pauley Pavilion, Dec. 17. Prior to this, a rather maudlin, but by no means a cupcake, UConn team visits on Decmber 10.(I say maudlin, only because they sit at an uncharacteristic 3-4 this year).

So after one more dance with a cupcake in Florida Atlantic, to once again "play down to its competition", and still maybe eek out a win, perhaps we might get a glimpse of what to expect of this team when BIG time begins...or maybe not. Thinkin most who follow the team with any degree of passion, and who can separate themselves from comparions to Sully-Craft-Thomas(et.al.), believe this team is a notch above last years team(by default).  Question is, how many notches are they below the upper tier teams that will litter their schedule from here on out?
