I know there's a game Saturday, and my ass will be there.

No problem - these guys beat expectations all last year. Might be a rough start to the season without KBD and Tate but Holtmann is a hell of a coach. Confident we will get better as time goes on.

I'm taking a wait-and-see approach with these guys, but no doubt the program is in good hands though.
Looking forward to season whatever it may bring. Go Bucks.
5.5 sounds optimistic to me, especially with Potter gone.
I'd feel better about it if it was on a neutral court. The environment is gonna be crazy and I think the freshmen, who are gonna have to play a good bit, are bound to get a bit sloppy.

While I am excited to see the BB season start who really knows enough about either team to give a point spread even before either team plays a game? Simply guess work just like preseason polls which IMO should not even be released until at least 1/4+/- games into the season when there is something more solid on which to make such judgments.
As long as there are people willing to make a wager, Vegas will give us a betting line.
That spread screams ucpussycats at me. Vegas must know Holtmann & Co. has this one circled. Having been raised in Cincinnati I’m hooked.
I don’t see it.
There are very few things I’d love more than to be able to have bragging rights over my UC friends in Cincy.
Bad picture. Or was it?
Not gonna go ass over balls crazy on this team yet. But eventually, it’s gonna happen!

Coach Meyer’s got lots of bad pictures on this site.
You're giving me 5 points... I will take the Bucks! Lets go boys. Stoked for the season. Great test to start it off.
Go Chris...Go Bucks
I'll take Cincy and give the points for easy money. Potter's defection is a distraction to the team so close to this game, and I expect a double digit loss at Cincy.

I watched UC the other night. Poor senior PG who is hurt leaving a frosh. The team seemed to need time, but 2 good scorers in Cumberland and Brohm. They still play tight D. Hard to figure.
Both teams had significant roster turnover from last season and are working in new players. I expect it to be a pretty rough uneven game - plus UC plays with the D set to 11 all the time. I think the new arena big crowd will hurt UC more than OSU. I wish this gane would have been scheduled for January instead of a season opener.
5.5 points seems about right. I expect UC to win but not cover tonight
