What happened on the BIG TRANSFER?
Nice work Luke but needs more links.
Agreed! Here's Bon Iver doing an incredible 4AD Session.

Mother bald eagles regurgitate out of love and patriotism.
Ben Franklin wanted the national bird to be the Turkey. The Thanksgiving sacrifice is true patriotism.
Edit: ^^^^ hahahahaha
I got so pumped up by MM's comments. wow!!!
You can feed a bobcat all the chili it wants. That don't mean it's going to crap out diamonds.
Can saying 'first' be an automatic ban please?
I feel like every team that gets a new strength coach has this exact same thing happen. I'll wait to see it on the field.
The Mods should replace all "first" with something like "I'm a closet Michigan fan" or worse.
"or worse" e.g. closet Bret Bielema fan?
"The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes." - EACommunityTeam
"or worse" e.g. openly man crushing on Bret Bielema

Agreed, that "first" thing is childish.
I think the hiring of a nutritionist is great, some of these 18-20 year athletes can easily get by eating nothing but pizza, chicken wings and burgers. I think good nutrition will go a long way in developing them into what Marotti and Meyer are looking for.
We should strive to keep thy name, of fair repute and spotless fame...
(Also, I'm not a dude)
Soda? Who drinks soda? I mean c'mon!
Real people drink POP
youre forgetting the real killer....chipotle
Chipotle isn't really a killer. You can easily rack up a ton of calories with it, the burrito shell alone is 300, but it also has actual nutritional value assuming you get more toppings than cheese and sour cream.
Next thing you know, random visitors will be going into the archives and commenting "Last!!!" on all of the posts.
Time and change will surely show how firm they friendship... O-HI-O.
Nice to see a Luke post.
Why is Marotti satisfied with maximizing the players' genetic potential? Why not incorporate some bionic implants when maximized genetics are insufficient?
Also, I can see Nathan "John Bender" Williams saying, "Hey, I can deal with the egg white omelets, tofu hash, and buckwheat pancakes, but you can't take away my cigarettes, brah."
Exactly. But that titanium "arm" thing needs to be retractable (plastic man-style) to reel in Denard if he tries to run and hide.
I was thinking of Beanie's stiff arm.......
Or clone Vernon Gh's upper body.

I was going to go with an adamantium laced skeleton joke, but I'm not sure anyone would get the reference.
You're not alone. Adamantium joke away!
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Do retractable claws come standard?
Healing factor is a must..No need for a back up in any position if we have that. Imagine the recovery rate, we could actually have a _ichigan practice schedule and see some benefit from it.
I don't always take names when I kick ass but when I do, they most often belong to a Wolverine.
Adamantine skeleton is all well and fine until Magneto literally rips it out of your body. I mean, uh, I've never even heard of Weapon X.........
Leave one wolf alive....and the sheep are never safe
Haven't we already determined that the NCAA doesn't like paid-for body alterations?
Would you rather have OSU win two NC in basketball or one NC in football?
5 ft 9 in - 185 lbs - ALL HEART
1 in football
1 football > 2 basketball
3 basketball > 1 football
Didn't you ask this yesterday with it being 3 in basketbal vs 1 in football?
"I spent 90 percent of my money on women and drink. The rest I wasted." - George Best
I would trade an NCAA title in basketball for a regular season football victory in Ann Arbor. Would prefer both, but as long as we're assigning values there's my price list.
I'd rather have one in basketball than one in football straight up. Most of us already have a football one in our lifetimes (the wiser amongst us multiple) and while I personally revere football in a way basketball can't quite measure up to, a college basketball championship by my measure is far more scarce.
The corgis are absolutely adorable, granted that pug one was kind of creepy.
I really wish imgur wasn't blocked at work.
Oh, hello mobile browsing.
I'm not sure how to live my Friday without hearing about the fast food craving du jour. Preferably from a place like Cane's, In-and-Out or Jack in the Box...someplace they don't have near me, in other words. Orlando is a culinary wasteland in all phases except food truck.
I miss Raising Cane's all the time. In the spirit of Elika, the random Columbus place I miss that I can't get in this moment in time is Mad Mex, though I also routinely miss Adriatico's and Smokin' Joe/Hounddogs.
In Nashville we have a place that is nearly identical to Canes but willing to cover everything in buffalo sauce. It is absurd.
"Who cares? Go Bucks." - Aaron Untch
Good morning Awwwwwwwop! Where is that in Nashville? Been to Jack's BBQ downtown and it was good. Also been to a little family style place called Monell's. That was awesome. Sit down and you don't even order they just start bringing out food like crazy! loved it!
I saw a UFO once.......it told me to have a goodyear!
Next time you're there go to the Pancake Pantry, it's near Vandy's campus. Get there early so you don't have to wait in line as long because you will wait in line, and I promise it is SO worth it. I've been in there before when I've seen them escorting Titan's players in through the back.
Jack's BBQ is good, my name is in their big guest book several times with a "Go Bucks" written next to it :)
should give Monell's a chance ( I believe that is the name). It's a family style place. You sit down at a table with other groups. They start bringing out the works for breakfast. Full platter of pancakes, platter of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh made marmalade, pitchers of coffee and juices and the best two, platter of fried chicken and platter of different types of pork (bacon, chops and all types of things I never would try, I think pigs feet are in there as well). breakfast is like $14 all you can handle and trust me I sat next to a big dude and he went to town and still had some leftovers.
It is called McDougals and it is on Belcourt Ave in Hillsboro Village. I went to Pancake Pantry last year and was thoroughly disappointed. I should have known though since I do not really like pancakes. The omelettes at Noshville Deli are the best breakfast I have had here, but I am by no means well versed. I work downtown, maybe I will swing by Jack's for lunch one day.
You don't like pancakes!?!? Fabienne would not approve.
AWWWWWWOP: How was your breakfast?
Fabienne: It was good...
AWWWWWWOP: Did you get the pancakes, the blueberry pancakes?
Fabienne: No, no, they didn't have blueberry pancakes, I had to get buttermilk . . .
I will give McDougals a try next time there. I am just 3-4 hours north in the Lou!
Elika is not doing the Friday Skull Sessions? there goes half of the readers!
I don't want 11W to change. First of all, I do not think 11W "regurgitates" stories. If anything, the writers here take said regurgitation and forms their own opinion on the matter as a OSU buckeye fan base wants them to. I don't want some neutral BS piece on my blog site! I want my writers to be as passionate and fanatic as I am. Never change! Keep growing and developing new things but don't change the purpose of this site, educating and informing your fellow buckeye fans.
and isn't the point of "blog sites" to take stories and information from all over the internet so that I and my fellow readers don't have to spend all day looking everywhere to find what we want? I appreciate not having to comb through website after website looking for my buckeye news. This staff does that for all of us and an excellent job at that.
and don't forget, we can have more information at our fingertips if we all work together.
Jason and Luke both wrote Skullys this week? We must have done something right in a previous life to be so honored.
Count me as surprised there wasn't already a full time nutritionist on staff. I would've bet most programs have one. Anyone know if that's the case?
Mike Adams would be a steal if drafted in the 20's. With proper coaching he could be a solid starter for the next 10 years. I'm hoping my Colts can get either Alshon Jeffrey or Posey in the 2nd round. I'd love for Blackmon or Floyd to be there but there is no way that happens.
I read recently about Syracuse's bball team that has a nutritionist and they have the whole team sit down for a meal about 4 hours before hand so that the nutrition and protein is in there system during the game. It is very laid out.
I can easily see Adams drafted in the 10-15 range. He is showing teams what talent he has and he isn't even polished at all. If he gets coached up he will be a dominate LT. Alot of mocks are saying right now that he would be a dominate RT at the least.
Don't see Posey going in 2nd round. I thought he deserved that range but with the BS suspension and everything, he could easily drop to 4-5 rounds. but I think he would be a steal at that point.
My friend who is a pats fan wants Posey badly in the late rounds
He could be for them what Taylor Price was supposed to be.
I can easily see Posey going to the pats. He meets all the needs they have for a wideout. Speed, routes and he has been humbled greatly over this year. Belchick could mold him into something special. He just needs to work on those drops and we could be talking about a starter on the cusp of Pro Bowl honors.
I am a KC fan and would love to trade 11/12 pick back for a 1st and 2nd (or maybe even the pats two 1st picks late in the round) and pick up Adams. I am not sure he is worth an 11th pick but if Trent Richardson somehow falls to them (that tanned freak at NPSE thinks he will), I think a few teams would trade up for him. I would love to get Adams at 17 where Cinncinnati picks (they would love Richardson) and that other 2nd rounder perhaps go for Brewster. Weigmann is ready to retire. Need that next center! Adams and Brew....love it.
Donald Washington is the only buckeye on my Chiefs. I want more!
Am I the only person out there that doesn't consider Posey a Buckeye any more?
Still not OK in my book.
Banned from ATO since June 3rd 2PMish PST
Yep. The things he did on the field makes him a buckeye in my eyes.
Still not OK with NCAA.
Count me in as one of those shocked that we did not have one already. Florida's had one for as long as I remember, and I remember going to football camps in the late nineties at UNC (back during the Mack Brown era, this was interesting from '07) where they had one as well. That along with the training table "concept" that OSU is apparently just now starting to grasp. Really makes you think - if we have been as good as we have without this great of a program to maximize the talents of our athletes, can you imagine what we will be like in the years to come? Not to like, ridiculously raise expecations or anything <cough twentygazillion national championships cough>
Oh and while the article linked above says they only had the Nutritionist since '07, pretty sure that's a mistake because Mad Dog put one in way before then before following Brown to UT. Which goes again to show how important these guys are, when Brown and Meyer drag them along each coaching stop.
And yes, of course, I agree - traditional media being in any way incorrect, a ridiculous notion I know.
Ah, you've caught me mending my fences. One of many things I like to do here at the ranch.
.... video still makes me laugh.
